It is really strange how the plugin and PDANet interact thru BS.
I've tried disconnecting the phone and disabling the plugin after doing some call in and call out testing, and something keeps reconnecting for a couple of times and then pops up a message form BS about disconnecting DUN which I had never done.
After that I tried PDANet, and it flat wouldn't connect. I then tried enabling the plugin and connecting the phone which worked BUT the phone interaction just didn't work, errors like I described.
I am sending you a PM, hope you don't mind.
Great work so far and love the skin so far but why don't you use the phonecontrol skins that's already done for the BMW36 skin since you're making something similar to that.

Try Robby BMW. Here is his BMW E36 thread.

you can always create a custom indicator which you control. then check that indicators state before the command. Something like so..

replace the commands between the ! with the mobilephone commands for mic mute on/off. And there you have one button that performs both tasks AND turns on/off the indicator. :)
Clever, thank you. This is my first time messing around with skins, so I have a couple of followup questions.
Does this assume that mic mute is off when loading the skin? Is that OK to assume? What if I have the mic muted then exit the screen and later return to it? Is there any possibility that the custom indicator and the actual mic state gets out of synch?
I'd make one small change. Id send a mobilephone_unmutemic as well. That way you know the current state of the connection. Otherwise you could end up thinking its mute when its not.

Perfect, that should work great. Thanks.
OK, I have a small hangup again. I made a simple mobilecall.skn, kind of like the example above. But, if I place a call using my actual cell phone (which I may want to do if I want to just use the phone and not let my passenger hear the call over the car's speakers) it triggers mobilecall.skn. Is that intended? I'd rather it not do anything in that scenario, and only have the mobilecall.skn load if there is an actual incoming call.
