When I open the plugin in RR it shows my phone, my number etc.. It doesnt do anything however. There is no contacts, nothing. I made a call dialing out manually and all it did was dial the call, it worked, but I had to pick up the phone and use it like normal. The audio didnt work through the speakers. Is there a way to standalone test this outside of RR?

P.S. Do I need Bluesoleil mobile? This plugin does not require the CPhone connect plugin correct?
You dont need the bluesoliel mobile software. The only thing you need from bluesoliel is the bluetooth software.

after looking through the 40 some pages of this thread I am more confused now with all the changes. I am trying to get this plugin to work with Riderunner but have had no success.I downloaded the Mobilephone.net_setup.zip file on the first post and ran it and the vcredist_x86.exe file. I also have Bluesoleil version 6.249 (full version), i can get it to connect to my phone and when i call my cell phone i can answer the call (on the cell phone by clicking answer on the cell phone) and then i can have it transfer the sound to the "headset" which causes the sound to go to the pc speakers. But how can i get this integrated into Riderunner? I have seen different posts about using BMW skin or Carwings_dynaminc skins but cannot find where to get the BMW skin and i dont see where in the Carwings version that comes with RR to get to the phone menu. I tried adding a button manually that goes to the "mobilephone.skin" menu but it looks like a generic tester menu which i think was mentioned before in the thread. It gives me a green icon at the top but nothing else seems to work in it.
Can lambo or someone give me some insite on what my first step would be to get this working and integrated into RR.

    Thanks
Well firstly what skin are you using? I have asked for people to post or send me their working skins so i can include in the installer but had little response.

Also RR decided to change the skin it shipped with three times now so its hard to make a standard.

If in doubt you can try the debug logs. They hold the clue to most problems. Just make sure you set it to debug level 5 to get all the output.

No i am wanting to get the sound through the speakers of the car and i would have to talk through a mic through the pc but bluesoleil calls it "headset" set up.

i was messing with the test skin that was included in the install package and it shows it connecting but not much else works, i have tried to call my cell phone from a land line and it seems to know a call is coming in because it tries to load another screen called mobilecall.skin and it says its not found. I saw someone post something about it on post #247 but
does anyone have a complete skin that this has been incorporated into that i can see?
There should be atleast 3 fully working skins in the installer. BMW and carwings dont have a mobilecall.skin because I dont use them. If any one has a nice one for these skins I'd be happy to add it to the installer.

BMW E36, simplistique and Ultimate should all be complete.

Have you checked the debug log to see what the problem might be?

My question is when I buy bluesoleil do I have to buy this plugin too to make it all work? In all these posts I don't remember reading needing that plugin but there was lots to read so I may have forgotten.

You dont have to pay anything for this plugin ...its free.

You only need to buy the Bluesoliel program...NOT the ctool or mobile

Second question; Is it possible to have two phonebooks? I want a personal and business phonebook. Right now everything is in mobilephone_pc.
It isn't possible to have two phone books at the moment. I had plans for different phonebooks depending on source i.e. pc or memory card but they're floundering at the moment.

The readme contains all the commands...so should the help file but it may be out of date.(its not I checked) Its possible to increase the volume to full and mute it using mobilephone_mutespkr and mobilephone_unmutespkr (just puts to full volume)

hey lambosprit. first i just want to say great job so far on the plugin. i tried what you suggested and tested those commands but they do not seem to do anything. i loaded up the mobilephone.skin and made a call. i could hear the person on the other side and i sent the command mobilephone_mutespkr and i could still here them at the same low volume as before. then i sent the command mobilephone_unmutespkr and again no change. is there something in bluesoleil to boost the volume? i have a feeling not everyone is having this issue. it may be specific to iphones or maybe just iphone 3g's...i dunno. all i know is i can hardly hear the other end when using bluesoleil's audio gateway on xp.

In the DFX Skin theres at least 2 phone related skins (that aren't supported anymore), freefone and phoco, so what I did was just take one of those skins (phoco) and used the Skin Editor to change around the commands to use the .net mobile plugin commands. And there are also existing skins for incoming call part of it for both freefone and phoco, so I just renamed those to what .net plugin calls (mobilecall.sink??) and changed the commands to the pickup and hangup commands, pretty easy to do if your skin comes with an antiquated phone skin.
