one interesting thing i've found is that everything works fine on my laptop, which is where i do my testing. the caller's voice comes through the laptop speakers and they can hear me through my laptop's built in microphone. however, when i disable the built in mic and plug in an external mic it doesn't work. i set it as the default recording device and the mic works in windows (i can make sound recordings etc) but bluesoleil does not use it. i can hear the caller, but they can't hear me. this makes me think that bluesoleil chooses the devices it wants to use and there's no way for me to change it.
my carputers are both running onboard sound. there are headers on the motherboards for front audio jacks and i'm wondering if maybe bluesoleil has decided it wants to use the front mic jack as the recording device. i'm going to hack myself together a front mic jack tomorrow and see if that doesn't fix this problem.
same exact problem here!
Like you, audio out works, and i can hear people, BS doesn't send any Audio in. There is no where to change the setting. These were the settings in place when I installed Bluesoleil, so I don't know what to do. Seems pretty ridiculous if this setting cannot be changed, especially for 30 bucks, it makes it useless. I am curiosu if anyone else has or had this issue, and how they corrected it. I will send an inquiry to Bluesoleil, but any support related responses i get from them seem to be vague and I always get "We are constantly updating and improving Bluesoleil, check back in the future for further support". The Cphone tool is able to get my contacts as well, but they do not show up in .net plugin. I am using the original greay looking skin, perhaps I should try using another skin. Also, when usiing Cphone tool my phone doesn't automatically send audio to the PC, I have to press the "Transfer" button on the Cphone tool.
Here's something new:
I can hear my ringtone through the speakers. This just started last time I used it and am pretty sure I hadn't changed anything.
