I send a radiomute;on command. If you check the documentation >> radio modules folder under rr it will tell you what radio types allow this to work

Debug level is 5 for plugin and roadrunner has debug turned on. I tried 1.15 and 1.16.

With debug level at 5 the plugin folder of MobilePhone.net still never gets a debug file this would usually suggest it never starts loading. "31/03/2010 10:35:54 PM: Plugin Manager: loading Global Plugins...

I've got Windows 7 x86 loaded as well and will be testing this shortly on that one.

I've tested on my Windows 7 x86 on the same machine and I get the same issue. Attempted registering the dll via the regasm .... /codebase and no luck. Has this plugin been tested on Windows 7?

btw, the issue with the plugin not transffering audio after a call is made - is dongle specific (i've so far tried it with many many dongles).

Some transfers well, some never, some not reliably...

Anyone have any suggestions how to make this work with Steering wheel controls (just the answer / hangup button)??

I tried to get it to execute mobilephone_pickup / hangup but it doesn't work.

I agree that no log file means it isn't even started. I haven't tested it on windows 7 32 or 64. I dont have the money to keep buying BS licenses. I already have 3.

To help though I've attached a new test dll that should output more debug info as there's a few bits of code that occur before the debug logging is started. It may help. You'll have to register it yourself though.

Are you asking because you are looking for a way to do it or because the way you are doing isnt working?

I would recommend using a fusion brain to pick up the signal from the steering control and use the it to send a COM command from the fusion software to RR. I use it for a few different things, now you got me thinking about doing this with my steering controls also.

actually im using IBUScomm.exe for the e46 3 series. I can program rr skin commands to each button, like "mobilephone_pickup||setvol;30", but only the setvol30 works, the mobilephone commands dont register..

    Can't get Mobilephone.net to work

Hi everyone. Building my first CarPC so my apologies in advance if I ask dumb questions.

I've got RideRunner installed and working for the most part, but I'm having trouble getting phone integration to work.

I've installed .Net, the VC runtime, BlueSoleil, etc.

In RR I have a blank spot where I want to put the phone app. I click/hold to bring up a list of apps, and choose Mobilephone.net

RR takes me back to the menu screen, but the bottom spot is still blank. Clicking that spot does nothing.

From the logfile, it appears that MobilePhone is being called, but nothing happens.

    4/1/2010 3:02:40 PM:Info : Starting MobilePhone version: 1.14.3583.27140
    4/1/2010 3:02:40 PM:Info : Current directory: C:\Program Files\RideRunner\plugins\Mobilephone.NET
    4/1/2010 3:02:40 PM:Info : Device address: XXXX
    4/1/2010 3:02:40 PM:Info : Pair code:
    4/1/2010 3:02:40 PM:Info : International prefix = 001
    4/1/2010 3:02:40 PM:Info : International shortcut prefix = +1
    4/1/2010 3:02:40 PM:Info : National prefix = 1
    4/1/2010 3:02:40 PM:Info : Using BlueSoleil for phone connection
    4/1/2010 3:02:40 PM:Info : MobileCall.skin: on
    4/1/2010 3:02:40 PM:Info : Trying to connect to phone.
    4/1/2010 3:02:47 PM:Info : You have succeeded in getting a remote device's handle.

I'm also seeing this repeatedly in debug.txt:

    4/1/2010 3:11:50 PM: Enter Exec: False, menu.skin, , False
    4/1/2010 3:11:50 PM: Que Exec: True, menu.skin, "SETVAR;mobilephone_batterystrength;C:\Program Files\RideRunner\skins\\MOBILEPHONE_BATTERY_5.jpg" , False
    4/1/2010 3:11:50 PM: Executing: SETVAR;mobilephone_batterystrength;C:\Program Files\RideRunner\skins\\MOBILEPHONE_BATTERY_5.jpg
    4/1/2010 3:11:50 PM: Que Exec: True, menu.skin, "SETVAR;mobilephone_signalstrength;C:\Program Files\RideRunner\skins\\MOBILEPHONE_SIGNAL_5.jpg", False
    4/1/2010 3:11:50 PM: Executing: SETVAR;mobilephone_signalstrength;C:\Program Files\RideRunner\skins\\MOBILEPHONE_SIGNAL_5.jpg
    4/1/2010 3:11:50 PM: Leave Exec: False, menu.skin, SETVAR;mobilephone_signalstrength;C:\Program Files\RideRunner\skins\\MOBILEPHONE_SIGNAL_5.jpg, False

I'm sure I've missed something stupid. Any help is appreciated!

I have some other questions, but I'll try find the right forums for them

    Thx!

Thanks for sticking with me and trying to help me out lambosprit. I believe by register the dll you mean 'regasm.exe %riderunnerpluginfolder%mobilephone.dll /tlb:mobilephone.tlb /codebase' ?

Tried that inside framework/v2.0... and framework64/v2.0.... and still no debug file in the folder with mobilephone.dll unfortunately. I didn't see any changes to the riderunner debug file either regarding the mobilephone plugin as it still shows '01/04/2010 11:29:33 PM: Plugin Manager: Plugin Found: MobilePhone(.NET) plugin found but will be unable to create (most likely NOT registered)[skipped].'

OK, it would seem it's loading the plugin now in Windows 7 x64. Still no mobilephonedebug.log or anything but the rr debug.log shows
01/04/2010 11:54:20 PM: Plugin Manager: loading Global Plugins...
01/04/2010 11:54:22 PM: Plugin Manager: Plugin Found: MobilePhone(.NET)
01/04/2010 11:54:22 PM: Plugin Manager: Plugin loaded (Global): MobilePhone

It of course now prompts me for Bluesoleil (BSWrapper not initializing) looks like you even rely on BS for COM access. Guess i'll have to go get an external Bluetooth since BS hardware check tells me that my internal will work with it but when I install the newest BS in trial it is unable to find my bluetooth hardware.

Thanks for helping me get this working Lambosprit.
