Thread: Foobar2000 Player Plugin

I registered FoobarRR.dll and made all you said before but nothing to do....
When I open RRconfig and save it the RR.ini file return in the original state, all mods are out....

your playerpath= setting is missing the "2000" from the path... and your visuname= is wrong as well.. please fix those and let me know if it still gives you issues.

EDIT: I just put the wrong path in here and got the same error -- I'll be adding a prevention for next release (but I can't do much about a wrong path setting).

It works for me, at least in its basic form. Performance is yet inferior to winamp as it seems slow. Haven't checked CPU usage thoroughly, but if i remember correctly, CPU usage gets high when switching songs. Talking about foobar process, not the comserver or what is called.

Yes , I had installed the COM Server .

Is the same thing, always run time error 91...... I've fixed the RR.ini and is the same... this is the debug files i have

This may be something specific with your machines.

Please download this updated DLL (attached to this post), overwrite the DLL you're using now and then run RR. It will create a log file: C:\foolog.txt -- please post it back for review along with any possible changes on your results.

I gave this a try and it will load the player, but aside from that...it won't execute any player cmds, play/pause-fwd/rev...ect. If i open foo first add some songs and start it playing, then startup RR, i do get the current track time and song pos slider working but thats it. This is all on the work comp so might be something there?

Will give this a quick try when I get home to see if I get any diff results.

@G Using that above player PI, I don't get any foolog.txt in my C: drv

@pierrotm777: Did you get any error messages on the screen when you tried that version with the log ?

I'll be testing a few different computers here to see..
