I will try to uninstall and reinstall all in c:\programmi\
Here you are
Ok, for you guys having issues.. I'd like you to run this test application (attached) so we can try to figure out what's going on...
Please follow these steps:
1-Copy the test application to >>RR's FOLDER<< (Where you have rr.ini)
2-Make sure you have foobar2000 setup in rr.ini (like you'd have it to use with RR)
3-Make sure RR is closed and Run the test application
4-You should see your playerpath and musicpath setting at the bottom of the window -- if they're not right, then close the test application and fix your RR.INI before doing anything else (please ensure to have only ONE playerpath OR winamppath setting in rr.ini to avoid confusion).
5-Press the "Start Foobar2000" button -- see if it starts and/or shows any errors
6-Press the "Create control objects" button -- see if you get any errors
7-Press the "Add Something" button -- see if you get any errors
8-Press the play/stop/next/prev buttons -- see if they work
9-Copy the log window and reply back with your results
10-Press the Close and Exit buttons
Hopefully this will help us define what problem(s) you're having and get it running,
Great...Tester works just fine...
One suggestion, we probably need to add/change the player settings to say playerxxxx= and if this PI could follow the hide player setting. As I cant see what rr is telling foobar b/c its hidden and no way to make it visable for testing purpuses..
It's all ok and this is my screen
The code that is in the player plugin is EXACTLY the same code that is in the test application (I just copied it into the application) -- I'm puzzled as to why it is working with the test app and not with the Player Plugin. I'll make the hide option work and you guys can the see what it's doing.
I've updated the first post with a new version where hideplayer=true/false works. I would appreciate any input on the problems with that version.
Err... Now it works, think that there are still some quirks with it. I first tried with it visible, worked, then hide it, was still good..I have no idea... just one of those things...
