Tried also reinstalling foobar (either in portable or in normal mode) but same error.
0.9.6.8 is what I have and it works. Please make a debug log in RR and post it -- should show warning messages with the path it's trying to use.

that's what you get when the path is wrong allright -- I just tried it here... I need to add a prevention against that problem, but in any case, chances are you have the wrong path in rr.ini or you may have more then one setting for winamppath/playerpath. Please check it or post a .zip of your rr.ini.

Thank you guino for your kind interest.
I couldn't find any noticeable mistake in rr.ini but you can check it:

    Hi Alain,

Thanks, that helped -- it was a simple thing. Just remove the "foobar2000.exe" (filename) from the path -- as per 1st post's instructions, and it should work.

Oh, sorry I really didn't notice the right spelling for the playerpath in the 1st post but I'm almost sure having tryed also that way with same result.
Anyway I will try again later and will report about.
    Many thanks again guino

I just tried this plugin and have run into a tiny issue with it..... and it's bizzare at that.

NONE of the track information is correct. The song playing...is not what is displayed. If I open the music listing, and select a song to play...it "looks" like it switches to that song...yet a completely different song is played.

I've removed the plugin, fb2k, re-installed it all, same result. Could it be that fb2k has all the songs in it's library vs RR?

maybe it just doesn't like me....but I think it did sound a little punchier than winamp did on the asus xonar sound card I have installed.

I think I have the same issue or a similar one: fb2k plays its own playlist and the next or previous track commands don't affect it, it goes on playing the same track and also the "stop" command behaves like a "pause".

I had not time to investigate more though.

When RR uses fb2k, it creates a new "playlist" (Tab) on the application where it keeps it's own playlist to use in RR -- RR should be controlling/playing/managing that separate playlist only -- and only while it's running. You should be sure that the foobar version you're using is supported by the plugin (read 1st post) and be sure to let RR launch fb2k to avoid any unforeseen results (i.e. don't leave fb2k open and then launch RR while it runs).
