Skype Plugin released

Sorry, but one more small request?

When I use the TTS to send a message, and then go to send another msg, the text is still in the text area from the previous message. There is no way to clear it out.

Could, either when the TTS is called up clear the text, or possibly make a button that can send a command to RRSkype to clear the text dialog?

BTW, I am actually impressed with the TTS accuracy with it! Using dictation mode, as you know, can really be bad at times. With a lot of training for the TTS however, the text is working at about 90% accuracy. Enough, that even small errors can be sent, and the receiver will know what you are saying.

Yea, sorry for the false alarm about that haha! It just happened to occur at the same time I installed the new version of your plugin. Sorry about that!

I did find one more small issue, for the label RRSKYPE_SEX it contains some extra characters, and shows up as: "usexMale"

Hi Lambo,

I am going to be using your skype and mobile phone plugins as they seem to integrate nicely into the the reborn skin. I managed to get the mobile phone plugin but the skype plugin seems to be dead on the autoappmart site.

Does anyone have a working link to this?

Just noticed this bit. Its already there just not documented, rrskype_status is a label. rrskype_currusrtype is a indicator (although it was broken but now fixed) that shows an icon.

Very strange, tried to download from 4 different Windows machines (Server 2003, XP, Vista and Windows 7) none of them worked until I tried my Mac.

Skype plugin is now installed and working perfectly.

is there anything i have to do to get that working? i manually set up the voice commands, i can now navigate around skype... but when i go to 'start record' in the text message window, nothing happens. i do have voice enabled in rrskype's setup....

Not sure what you mean by "start record". Do you mean RRSKYPE_SPEECHON or is this something in John's Skin?

The way it should work is
send RRSKYPE_SPEECHON
Speak and then send rrskype_speechoff. VERY IMPORTANT.You dont have to wait for it to actually recognise it. It does this automatically. If you dont send the rrskype_speechoff as soon as you've finished talking it thinks you want to add more and will pick up background noise.
When it works out what you said it will appear in the text window for you to send.
