Lambo, now when you'll have radio mute code in fresh memory, could you add it to Skype plugin too, please. Also if possible, could you change play/pause so it pauses when call comes and not when you answer. Would be easier to detect when a call comes. Thank's in advance.
You little devil, you never stop to amaze me. excellent job again. Thank you very much.
Ok, heres one for the brave. This is a new version of RRSkype that has speech recognition, speech to text and automatic translation.
To use it you must install and train microsofts speech software. I can't say it enough....train...train....train....Get it here
How it works.
If you receive a chat and speech is enabled it will say the person who sent the message then say the chat itself.
If translate is enabled the the recieved messge will be checked against the skype users language and translated into your skype user language. So say you get a message in french from a french language skype user and you have english set as your skype user then it will translate the message to english and say it. It will also set you current freind to the message sender so you can reply immediately.
For speech there are two new button commands. RRSKYPE_SPEECHON and RRSKYPE_SPEECHOFF. To use press RRSKYPE_SPEECHON. Say a chat (dont make it more than a sentance then press RRSKYPE_SPEECHOFF immediately. Dont wait for the speech to be recognised, it will be processed in the background and displayed in RRSKYPE_MSGTEXT when complete. If you dont switch it off it will continue to listen for speech and get confused If the text is ok use RRSKYPE_SENDCHAT to send it to the currently selected user.
Now the translation is only as good as google can make it and the speech recognition is up to microsoft so if it doesn't do well in those departments for you then its not my problem otherwise I'm happy to help.
EDIT: Removed as not working. See post 110 for fixed version to try
thanks john. When I finally got it working its really cool...I'd be interested to know how it interacts with jebus's voicecontrol as i haven't tested that yet and it uses the same speech stuff.
I was wondering the same thing, as I dont know if they will conflict with each other or not.
Is the incoming message also placed in a variable / lable so it can be displayed as well?
I look forward to testing this, but I do not get back from China till the middle of the week, and have a ton of other projects and life to catch back up on first, so will probably be a couple of weeks
Click RRSKYPE_SPEECHON, don't say anything and click RRSKYPE_SPEECHOFF, RR crash.
