I've only been bench testing on my HORM dev machine. I'll install it live on my carPC and input actual fuel and repair data and will report back.

    A few things I noticed.

    1) The labels in rrvm_maintenance/history skins don't update until you click an item on the CL. By paging up/down, the selected item will not the associated labels until you click the highlighted item in the CL.

    2) The images (green, yellow, red) in the maintenance skin show up as folders on the initial loading until i click RRVM_MAINTENANCE again refreshing the CL w/ the correct images. Am I doing something wrong?

    3) Since the Fuel Log CL relies on equal character spacing for evenly spaced data columns, is there any way to control the input data's format? (i.e. $3.39 vs. $3.399 & 14 vs. 14.01 gallons, etc.) If all your input data is not consistent on character count, it screws up the fuel log table.

    4) Also, can the column spacing be tailored like Blue's TaskManager CL? I'm having trouble fitting all the columns in my CL size selected and I didn't see an option to format the column spacing.

    5) Reloading the skin/Restarting RR seems to duplicate all the entries.

All in all...definitely one awesome PI.

    TY for the hardwork.

    1. more of a RR bug than a plugin bug.. arrow buttons dont trigger the ONCLCLICK event.. but i will throw something in the plugin to fix it

    2. your not doing something wrong your simply entering the skin before the timer that runs every minute sets the alert status for the CL

    3. i can certainly do this.

    4. believe me i wish i knew how!

    5. I thought i fixed this one awhile back but i will check it out again

Also, is it possible to change the way the OSK/NUMOSK into a "MENU" style load instead of "LOAD?"

Finally got around to skinning and my OSKs and NUMOSKs skin sizes are smaller than the skin's resolution.

    Update (EDIT):

After some more extensive driving/testing, the labels are not refreshing correctly. At least, the TOTALDISTANCE label is not reflecting the value that is restored from the flash drive and the trip distance automatically jumps up in value regardless of the total distance I've traveled in that session. From the looks of it, the trip distance is calculating the difference in distance from the location where I created my HORM state to my current GPS location and tacking that difference on to the TOTALDISTANCE. I know that the restoration of the copied files is taking place, but it seems as if it's being overwritten on resume with the values at the time I hibernated.

Is there a way to import older maintenance data into your format? Before your plugin, I was keeping track of it via csv file that inlcuded, dates, mileage, cost, & details of the maintenance, repairs & fuel. It would be nice if I could include that info in my carPC so that I have a more complete record instead of starting from scratch.

Thats kinda what its supposed to do. I made it this way so that even when you dont have gps lock the plugin continues to calculate.. then when you have gps lock the distance travelled is added to the trip/total distance labels. Now what seems to be happening is the function that calculates the distance between the point at suspend to the point at first gps lock isnt using the shortest distance between route and thats what throws the total distance way up. So what i'll do is add manual override essentially that will allow you to stop calculation at suspend and resume calculation at resume without taking to effect how much distance was travelled in between. I will also add a prevention that requires the plugin to READ the current distance from the file before overwriting the distance... because thats what it sounds like your HORM installation requires.

as for importing events you've done you can manually add them to history.csv. I dont have any automatic importing stuff written. The format of history.csv is as follows

    Code:
<TYPE(MAINTENANCE,REPAIR, or FUEL)>,<MM/DD/YYYY>,<NAME IF REPAIR OR MAINTENANCE MILEAGE IF FUEL>,<MILEAGE IF REPAIR OR MAINTENANCE PRICE PER GALLON IF FUEL>,<COST IF REPAIR OR MAINTENANCE ELSE TOTAL GALLONS IF FUEL>
here's an example of my history.csv
    Code:
    MAINTENANCE,8/18/2009,test,58350,15.00
    MAINTENANCE,8/18/2009,Windshield Wipers,58350,8.99
    MAINTENANCE,8/13/2009,Oil Change,58350,22.00
    MAINTENANCE,8/13/2009,test filter,58350,15.00
    MAINTENANCE,8/13/2009,test filter,58350,15.00
    REPAIR,1/1/2009,Clutch,47000,250.00
    REPAIR,7/18/2009,EGR Valve,51000,75.00
    MAINTENANCE,8/6/2009,Air Filter,50350,17.00
    FUEL,8/4/2009,50350,2.09,10.6

i have tried the plugin too, for me it's starts asking about the odometer and then ask if i want to enter some info... i have changed timebelt and oil/filter and entered the info, but it was not saving the data...

if i remember correctly it also had trouble leaving the loop of asking if i want to enter any info.. if i clik no it was just blinking and starting over..

and also RR locked up at some point
