Got some Q's..

#1 At first run, it asks you how often to check for the milage, where is it saved, as i don't see it saved anywhere.
#2 When saving/updating the current Odometer in the file, you should also be saving the trip (resest when rr is restarted).
#3 Same goes for waypoints, if the starting point is set of course...
#4 Is there a way to also enter/adj the trip the way the odometer can?

As far as the throwing out bad gps data... i think that this should be handled just like the old milage PI did. Meaning that you make a min dist traveled (by setting), that when the dist is calc'd if smaller then most likely is just GPS wonder while sitting still.

I finally adding to my dfx skin in the car to start playing with this so I will probably have more Q's/req's and hopefully no issues...

How about a Req now..hehe

That the odometer/trip/waypoint labels maintain the same decimal formatting... Basically what i'm getting at is that every time they roll around to a whole number, the dec point goes MIA and the cause the label to constantly shift back n forth. Consistent format.

Could you also tweak the "RRVM_OSKTITLE" lables as such:

"RRVM_FUEL"
===========

----------------------------------------------------------

"Please adjust current odometer reading if needed"

To

"Adjust odometer reading, if needed"

-----------------------------------------------------------

"Please enter the price per gallon of fuel"

To

"Fuel price per Gallon/Liter"

----------------------------------------------------------

"Please enter the amount of fuel added in gallons"

"Fuel added in Gallons/Liters"

More....All the numosk cmds:

RRVM_(0-9) - Doesn't seem to enter anyting into the txtbox

RRVM_ESC - does not back Out of the process..

When entering the fuel, I can only get to that last stage above, at Which
the RRVM_ENTER & RRVM_ESC do nothing an if in car get me stuck w/o a kb.

Looking great from what i've played with so far..

#1. I asked that because initially people requested that setting be adjustable because of the overhead of checking 1/sec. But since its been beta tested noone has reported any high cpu usage with the plugin. So no, its not being saved at this point and will probably be removed from the next release.
#2. The trip meter is supposed to reset at hibernation/restart. Its meant to measure the current trip.
#3. Didnt think about the way points over reset. i will correct that

labels have been adjusted.

the keys on rrvm_osk and rrvm_numosk are normal OSK keys with the exception of "rrvm_enter". That was requested by john i believe. Those screens can be duplicates of your standard osk screens with the exception of RRVM_ENTER as your enter key and RRVM_OSKTITLE as your OSK header. Its possible the skin files included in the beta are out of date and for that i appologize.

I'm adding improvements as they are requested... but i'm still finding this vondu trojan (running kasperky webscan as i type this), so i dont want to update the online files until i get this 100% solved

Personally, I think just a single decimal place should do it, just like a real odometer in the car.

Also, can the decimal character be stripped out before the label is passed to RR?

so it looks like 652365 instead of 65236.5 (Where the .5 is 5 1/10ths of a mile), again just like a "real" odometer.

Not to side away from john....but i think that idea is more of a skin related format req.

maybe, keep the current one(correctly formated) and a *ND one that is how johns asking for...

The main odometer should only have a tenths place like older cars, the trip/waypoint could go one place farther out .01.

You'll be wanting the plugin to pass the last character in a different colour, just like a 'real' odometer next.

Actually, that sounds like a job for RRImageLabel.

ok i'll handle it this way. each meter will have an optional label for whole-rounded values. the existing labels will be modified in such manner: Main odometer will have tenths always show and trip/waypoint meters will have hundreths always show.
