Next on my observations is that when entering fuel, in the first step, you need to round the current odometer that U prefill the numosk with to the tenths. I did a test at lunch and see that it showed the whole number that you prefilled in the numosk in the fuel log list so it pushes everything to the WAY right.

Per john and blues requests about meter formats...

is this what you're looking for. the initial label is the new RRVM_TOTALDISTANCE label, formatted to always show #.#. The label in parenthesis is the new RRVM_ODOMETER which is RRVM_TOTALDISTANCE with the decimal removed. There is also a new label RRVM_TOTALDISTANCEWHOLE which is RRVM_TOTALDISTANCE rounded to a whole number. Am i missing something?

i've also gone through and fixed the OSKTITLE's per blue's request. I'm not goin back through the plugin and converting from simple read/write file handling to ini file-based handling ( i was lazy before with this lol)

Another new feature per Blue's recommendation:

RRVM will disregard any distance different < 2/10th of a mile. When i say disregard, i mean the distance will be calculated but not added to the distance variables. So if for some reason you're driving fast then have to go 15 mph for x number minutes your distance labels probably wont update, BUT once you resume to a normal speed the distance calculator will measure the distance between fast "end" and fast "resume" and add it to your total distance. Make sense? The 2/10ths figure is based on the avg gps crawl data i found on gpsundergound. If it needs adjusted we'll do it after results come back.

Sounds good...i really would make an opt to override that 2/10ths figure if, as depending on one's puck, could need adjusted (was this way in the milage PI). I mean if no setting found, use the 2/10ths figure.

Nex question would be when can we get an updated PI? To test and move on the the next issue/req?

Speaking of req's.... how about rounding any/all dollar lbls so that they look normal or at least the the 1/1000's.

Maybe edit the thread title, as i think your "plus question" has long been answered..ie "[Released (beta) ])

if i can get the ini methods goin by the end of the day, i'll update and upload the new .dll today.

I left some of the cost per mile labels raw purposely because rounding of those items wont show small changes. I can certainly reduce it to 1/1000's though.

FYI the ini reading i've done has removed the limit of 50 maintenance items.. not that you would ever need THAT many lol

Alright lemme see if i can make a summary of the changes made:
    - Maintenance data handling is now done in true ini-read format ***SEE NOTE***
    - RRVM_TOTALDISTANCE now rounded to the tenths and formatted to always show 1 # behind the decimal
    - RRVM_TRIPDISTANCE and RRVM_WAYPOINTDISTANCE are now rounded to the hundreths and formatted to always show 2 #'s behind the decimal
    - Alternative total distance and trip distance labels available ***SEE SKIN COMMANDS.TXT***
    - User setting "GPSCrawlAvoid" is available in maintenance tracker.ini
    - maintenance tracker slider is fixed
    - All cost per labels are rounded to the nearest thousandth (these are NOT formatted)
    - Fuel total distance entry rounded and formatted correctly
    - Waypoint distance, start lat, start lon are now saved and resumed thru rr exits/resume

*****for anyone who wants to keep there existing data for maintenance, fuel, and history, do not overwrite those files. you MUST however go into your maintenance tracker.ini and add the following key in your "Main" section:
MaintenanceEventCount= <Number of maintenance items in your .ini>

You may also want to add a "UserSettings" section with the key:
    GPSCrawlAvoid = 0<off> or 1<on>

Gps crawl avoidance is off by default

i'm sure i've done more but thats all i can remember on a friday afternoon. The link in post 1 has been updated.

Looking good Sean! The indicator for the plugin is also working perfectly.

I see you have a couple of variations on the totalmiles label... Could you please add another optional one, for the miles without the decimal place?

I have a "simulated odometer" in my skin, and it just does not look so good with a decimal place in it

For 24328 miles and 5 tenths looks like this in the odometer:

    [2] [4] [3] [2] [8] [.] [5]

There is no way in real time to remove the decimal from a label unfortunately in RR code.

i'm lost Isnt that what RRVM_ODOMETER is? RRVM_ODOMETER would show your example above as [2][4][3][2][8][5]

My Bad! With all the labels and such to sort through (That's a good thing!)... I was using RRVM_TOTALDISTANCE as the label code for the Odometer hahah! Sorry about that!

Ok, that aside, being this is a label specifically made to look and act like an odometer, can it be zero filled from the left? So 2432.5 miles would look like 0024325(The trailing 5 of course being the 10ths) This will give room for mileage over 99,999 miles.
