i'm sure it was something to do with dates etc , its mentioned in the cmds that you use rrextended , hence why i'm asking , i'm hoping to rule rrextend out ,,,,
if rrvm dose use it in any way , i may have to let this pi go , ,, as rrextend dose cause issues , with the way things work for me now .....

I know i listed it in the requirements at some point but i believe that was only a brief time in development that i actually used it. I say just remove it and see what happens. Whatever i used it for i dont need to now so if there's a problem its only a quick fix away.

ok confirmed i'm not using RRExtended for anything i dont have it installed in the car and RRVM is working fine.

RRVM is in the process of a HUGE upgrade. Over the last 2 weeks i have gone through the code optimizing some stuff. Among the changes:

-Maintenance,Fuel Log, and History have been converted to XML format (I will create an INI to XML converter for use with existing stuff
    -Over 60 bug fixes
-RRVM will now work with international units for distance and capacity
-RRVM can not optionally back up all relevant data to an online database (there will be a small fee attached for this OPTION). This will allow users to go online or through an Android phone and enter data and have it sync to the car. It will also allow comparison data to be analyzed between similar vehicles (permitted a large majority of people opt to use it)
-RRVM can now work with a standalone gps unit on top of using RR's GPS data
-RRVM will implement OBD support (eta on this is unknown however)

I'm trying my best to make RRVM, along with CFVM, the number 1 vehicle information management system. In the next 2 weeks, expect an update with most of the new features in tact.

If anyone has donated to RRVM and has not received a beta invite please PM me and remind me so i can grant access. I'm spitting out betas every couple of days now!

Also, if anyone is familiar with creating apps for iPod devices and wishes to donate some time please contact me. I'd like an iPod app for this application but dont have a mac and dont have programming experience with apple's stuff.

On top of everything else going into this release i'm testing the ability to scan your gas receipt to automatically enter gas data to the fuel log. This will be able to be done via any webcam OR your android device (with pro version purchased of course)

no.. phone will sync with an online database and the online database will sync to your pc. If you dont have always on internet it will sync the next time you hit a wifi source.

    HUGE NEWS:

User Mezz64 has kindly shared the source to his popular OBD MPG plugin. This will allow me to proceed forward to bring full OBD-II integration in to RRVM. On top of the things OBD MPG allows currently, RRVM will have a "check engine light" checker and code converter. A Check Engine condition will send a vehicle report to your email with the code and details pertaining to it.

For pro users you will be able to select PIDS to include in your enhanced vehicle information report.

Thanks again to Mezz64 for contributing to the RRVM project and i'm hopeful to have something released very shortly.

PS, for anyone having problems with vehicle information reports sending please bare with me i'm in the process of assigning a new mailbox to the purpose. Gmail doesnt like you automating SMTP apparently.
