MP3Art Plugin - UPDATED 11-17-2010

Hello

What does this plugin should display? because I've installed it, but apart do not show the cover of the artist he does nothing else.

There must be something wrong on my config but I do not know what.

all it does is grab EMBEDDED artwork from inside mp3s and make it available to RR

yes but why it deletes the image of "COVERATISTE"?

It only reads the coverart that's embedded in the music file and sends it to RR. If there's no embedded art, RR will show the coverart that's in the music folder.

Been running it for years with both types of coverart in the same folder and it has never deleted anything.

You probably don't have embedded art, or maybe it's the wrong format?? I know if you rip with WMP, you have to change the attributes of the image for it to show.

ok, this is only the images that are in the MP3 that are read, so I thought it was the images that were into the directory.

but how to integrate an image to an MP3?

ok that's good I saw how it worked, I took MP3Tag to add an image into an MP3 and it works (it is a plugin that is useful when you have no image in a directory).

What exactly is the function ONARTCLICKED?
It should create a button?

This is a great Plugin improvement. Thanks Mitch.

I have been battling with album art and lyrics embedded inside the mp3's for a while. I used Atunes to embed it all, but never showed in RR. It's all good now thanks!!

Updated....

fixed a couple of little nagging issues

indicator flicker when changing tracks, when the artwork didnt change
fixed issue of a screen, not updating, when show, ie it wasnt visable when artwork changed

Mitch, just installed your wonderful Plugin, it's working as it should
for mp3's. After installation, fired up RR went to audio player, album
cover shows up just fine. Switched to radio skin, and guess what?
No Radio Cover art shows up. Did that two times, no change.
Uninstalled the new mp3art.dll and registered the old one, guess what?
Radio art is working again. Made one more test by installing the new one
and have the same problem....No Radio art. Went back to the old dll
and all is fine.

I think you broke something, or am I
