BASSRR [The All In One Player]

Finally I have my music DB so I'm trying some basic function of the music player. I'm using the included test skin to do it and experiencing a few difficulties browsing the songs/albums.

First: when I click the music button on the main screen, the skin bring me on to the screen where I can choose between audio/cd/shoutcast/utube. I choose "audio" then double click on "by folder". As expected, I have a list of folders with album covers. I scroll the list a little, click the "Air" folder then click on "select" button. I expect to get the "Air" album's songs on my playlist but... I ended up with a lot of songs (see video) and the first played is by "50 cent", not "Air"!. Havent' verified but I feel that the entire music collection is put on playlist!

Second: I click the "audio" button on top, again. As you can see, I can choose the way to browse my music collection. Unfortunately, after my first selection, I'm unable to access to any of the browsing methods so whichever method I select, I get an empty list. To stop this oddly behaviour I have to exit riderunner and start again.

Any advice? Is this a bug?

First: when you use by folder i coded the PI to load all shown music on list, means, you are correct, if you see youre entire collection and hit "Select" all youre music will be loaded to playlist, if you want to load "Air" folder, try "Browse" button first, then "Select".

Second:to browse using the predefined methods, "By Artist, By Title, By Album etc." use "Browse" button, instead of double click on list. i'll see if theres a bug on the skin or the PI, to see why double click is not working correctly.

NOTE:downloaded your ogg file, PI updated the db with no issues, BTW nice music.

Ok, note that the same happens when you first select "music" then one of predefined methods "By Artist, By Title, By Album...", then "browse" button; you select a song and you're back to playlist screen with music playing. If you click again on audio you fall in the previous case! So you have the list of predefined methods but regardless of what you choose you'll get the playlist page with an empty playlist.. I hope I made myself clear!

Maybe a path related problem? Maybe too long text or some bad character to the plugin? The original text from debug file was:

Bassrr seems to work good and very efficient. If I close RR and re-open it, it doesn't continue where it left off. Playlist is empty? Is there something I'm missing?

Oh and get better carputer1...

Unable to find plugin that was causing the issue, clean install of RR and added my plugins back and it's working great!!

the only PI under test so far that might cause your issue Nate is rrextended this stoppped the pl being load on rr styart for some reason , have had not the time to talk to blue properly about this....
