No this doesn't look right, try 68123B23621043444320XX2D30XX2020202020XX this works in my car.

(RR has to be in PAUSE-Mode because of switching to OEM-Radio via MODE-Button)...
Yes setting System=True will send RRCommand in radio mode too. If I need to skip track when RTS disabled, I'm switching back to "PC-Screen" press the button and switch back.

    set ID#131 with MsgTemplate="68XX3B236210CDC 1-01" (in hex of course)for CDC-Mode displayed, set RTS=Enabled

will then the RTS=enabled mode be active until I press MODE-Button and switch to Radio (even if I switch to NAV or BC during CDC-Mode) ?
I don't think it would. RTS is the switch that enable "PC-Screen" on the OEM display (by switching input to back camera).
Setting up as above means when you are in CD-Changer (RTS enabled, PC-Screen on) switching to Navigation will not disable RTS and PC-Screen is still on.
Every time you want to go to Navigation, Setting, etc you need to switch to Radio first just to switch off PC-Screen.

Yes I can, just need to think how to implement

Unfortunately, today when I tested (for first time) in the the car some variables were not displaying anything.

    SteeringWheel Buttons - OK
    PDC - OK
    ODO - OK
    SPEED - OK
    RPM - OK
    Engine Temp - OK

    Outsite Temp - Nothing
    Fuel Consum 1 & 2 - Nothing
    Avg Speed - Nothing
    Range - Nothing
Text to DISPLAY - Nothing on Radio display
These parameters are saved when closing RR, and read when starting RR.
If you just updated and copied the attached .ini, there is no parameters saved so it will display nothing.
Just update by clicking in skin, BC in your car, or wait until car sends it.

The Radio display are not currently supported, code are there but not used.

I tested for hours but those variables never change. In navcoder/ibusrr the values are on the ibus.

    Hi,
This is log from 18 sek it's just to short to tell anything.
If you had log enabled all time then filter it for "OBCxxxx" messages and look for those missing variables. Let me know if it's there or not.
A log when you update/reset by clicking in skin or BC in your car is helpful.

Plugin will not request BC to update automatically, it's depend on either
    1) variable is saved. This is saved in .ini file under [SAVEDVARIABLES]. Variables will be saved automatically every time you close RR, and read every time you start RR.
    2) car is sending data. This happen when you request update (skin or BC), request reset (skin or BC) or value changed.

Nothing is changed in the plugin, it work exactly same as before.

I have a log of about 5 minutes but I only posted first few seconds becase the rest is the same.

That clears things up a bit, I thought you are automatically sending 'Data Requests' (like ibusrr).

Maybe the 'Request Code' from your skin is not working in may car.

I'll have another go today and see if logs are any differet.

My idea is: on end of a trip a screen with these two Options will appear for 5 seconds - you can choose by pressing "1" for business or "2" for private - if nothing is pressed or Ignition completely off, write nothing... (Lat, Lon, Alt could be interest in CSV-File if possible)

    very good work imho!
    Hi,
The idea and how i use it is only "business" is logged, i.e if its logged -> business if not -> private.

Sure I can add business/private tag, but the "ignition" control seemes to complicated. Better to have it as skin command to be controlled from either RR or BMB.

    Hi,
No it wan't automatically send request.

I did just that first, but I change to save parameters instead because:

    1) When you first start the car, it's not uncommon you put the reverse in. If you using PDC function then the PDC send request every 250ms and get update at same rate. (here is another tip, the default update from RR is 1/sek, change it to get the advantage of 4/sek update rate)
    2) Again when car is started and IKE display is enabled, the current song is sent to the display with 250ms rate (scrolling)

So when car first started there could be PDCRequest, PDCValue and IKEDisplayText 4times/sek, + all other messages on the bus.
Adding data request and then the car response on all variables was to much for the bus to handle.

I could set a timer to 20-30 sek before sending request or check if PDC and display was active, but choose the easiest -> just save those variables to file and read it back when started.

The "Request code" in the skin work in my car (E39), there might be different in your car.

yes, I found out it yesterday and it works - my only prob is that the CDC-EMU does not work everytime - sometimes it will enable CDC after 5-10 times MODE-Press sometimes I have to switch radio off & on... it always work until I press MODE or MENU (RTS=disable) and if it works, then only when I specify an answer to RAD_CDSTAT (my problem is, that I cannot with the real state of CDC, just with CD_PLAY or CD_NOTPLAY - this is a case for the SETVAR-thing: Radio_ask_CDplay --> reply with CD_stopplay0101+SETVAR=A1 --> create two IDs for RAD_CDSTAT, one with "PARSE=A" one with "PARSE=true", so it will use the correct response for the real state) - but I will find out the real reason by logging every situation...

this is also a case for the variables - Im pretty hopeful that you can implement it, then I will construct a real OME-Integration

if I can send a command to IBusCommunicatoRR for writing as business or private, then I can implement it for myself if I want... I dont know if you know the IBus-MSG IGN-OFF="8004BF1100cs", IGN-RADIO="8004BF1101cs", IGN-ON="8004BF1102cs" - so I have to control if the IGN-RADIO appears after IGN-ON (realizable via SETVAR)

    best regards,
CIA - and many thanks in advance

    I see, makes sense.
I think data requests are needed for E46 though. So even every 1 minute it would suffice for Outside Temp, Consum, Avg Speed & Range.
Then if PDC is active, pause the other timers.

Can the 'Speed Camera' function use RR NAV info if OEM NAV is not fitted? I was planning to use GPSExec but it looks bloated when your plugin has more or less same functionality.

    CD-Emu doesnt work my problem? I use a Resler-USB

Ive got running some essential functions by using TXT-AREA 0/1 analysis in MSG-IDs but my biggest prob is the CD-EMU now - it isnt working well just work 2 of 10 Times - what can be my prob? I use a resler-v6-USB interface - will try it with a serial self-made K-Line...
