    Hi Janne,

Do you also use the 6.3a driver. Because I think you said that you use the seem HW setup I am using. My HW setup is an D510MO with 2 GB ram.
Hope to hear from you if you are running a seem HW setup

    Grtz Nick

    Hi Nick,
No I'm using an old Resler RS232 interface bought 6 years ago. No USB -> no drivers needed.

Hi Janne, but other than the Resler RS232 interface you have the seem HW setup?

Do you know if it is possible to use this dll with python? I can load it, but I cannot call any of the functions... I'm trying to get it to work with another front end...

Could you be a little more specific? The DLL methods look for a instance of riderunner?

    Thanks!

    Hi LiquidWater,
It's an RRextension plugin and need Riderunner to work.

You can read about it here How do I use the Extension Plugin Interface ? or search this forum for more info

I am having problems getting this plugin to work properly with my e46. To start - all I'm trying to do is get my steering buttons to work with RR. The two volume buttons are working, but the other 4 are not.

I have ran ibus analyzer and it sees all buttons being pressed (and I've compared msgtemplates and they are the same). So, it seems my hardware is setup correctly, but ibuscommunicatorr isn't recognizing buttons being pressed.

As a troubleshooter, I set all RRcommands to "VOL+" but that also didn't work.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Upon further tweaking - i got the phone button to work. I still cannot get the other three working however. It appears the msgtemplates change between two values. For instance, > press changes between 5004C83B01A6 and 5004683B0106. What does this mean?
