rrfp_oskapply ,, issue,,, i use sygic drive, but the format set by your pi, in the 11aosk.skin (Key Squence) seems to be wrong,, it takes me to gps location button of sygic,,
so i thought i would try fleet format ,, but the format dose not seem to be saveing to the ini...
any thoughts mate

Are you hitting 'apply' in the special OSK and then 'apply' in the rrfp main settings screen?

are not in main settings ,, assumed apply in special osk would of done that for me
*Edit* your method worked ,, apply osk then in settings it saves
well it did'nt fix the main issue ,, so sygic drive key squence is wrong by the looks here ,,,
always brings mr=e to the settings screen , and dose not route me ,, and it seems to be random on what button it finishes are in sygic screen
*Edit* ok got a more stable route enetrer ,, always finishies on "route me"

The best you can do is get to the 'route me' stage

ok at least i know now,, anychance of makeing the spec osk apply save without useing the settings apply as well, just makes sense to me

Not really, the idea with the settings is that you can mess with them all and then at the end decide OK I don't want to make any changes. I have done that may times with other apps when I have forgot exactly what I have changed for why.
The only reason for the extra apply on that OSK is that it is a long string to input and very easy to mess up so it's something you might want to go back to what it was before you started changing and start again, hence the need for the extra apply on that one.

Not sure which if any of the elite skins have support from the author of those skins.
Your best bet is to contact the author.
or
Just copy the carwings .skin files and images over (won'y look as nice but it will work)
or crate your own ones.
If I had access to the PSD files for it and the author didn't mind I could add support for Fuelprices.

Nice one i ll drop him a line see what his thoughts are on it, i know he has developed icons for fuel prices etc, be good if i could use it.
Bit of a noob to all this, dont supose you know of a good place to start learming about skinning, edited, etc. found what looked like a good place to start on here, downloaded the link but 2005 but no longer worked properly. I ve got the basics down setting it up but like to move onto next step.
Probly not the right post for this, but any help would be apreciated.
