Should update worker DLL automatically. (you'll need to enter fuelprices and then leave RR running for about 5 - 10 mins and then restart RR)/(or if you have the latest version of the main RRFuelprices.dll you can go to the plugins' settings screen and there should be a button on the left for DLL update, press this and then restart RR(give it a minute or two))
Used it a couple times and seems to be working now.
Thanks for your hard work and a great plugin!!
I believe this is with the DFX skin but thought I would ask here first just in case.
On the RRFuelPrices skin in DFX there is a "show map" button by each gas station. If I press that button it says "navigating to" then opens up iGuidance but never shows it on the map or better yet does not pre enter the address shown on the screen. Should it show up on a map or enter the address itself? (if not would be a great feature) Any settings or specific GPS Software it needs?
As standard iGuidance does not come with the abiility to send it GPS coords, to enable it to do so you need to hack it.Quote:

Also there should be a gasnav readme in the documents folder of the RRFuelprices folder, explaining how to hack IG.
I don't know if anyone has tried this with the latest versions of IG and RRFuelprices, but it did work with the old RRGas and IG versions
It can also work with Sygic and iGo8, plus my personal edition of FreeDrive (which is based on the old Destinator 3 engine)
I need to see why it still don't work for me.
My iGuidance 4.0 does not have a dialog 1092 so I can't enter "coordinates" as the instructions say. It has all the other ones but not the 1092.
I have been trying to get my hands on another version of iGuidance to see if it is on that version but no luck. It's hard to find out of date software :)
I did find a different one on JohnWPB's website that had the dialog 1092 but it still does not work.
It does open up the iGuidance screen where you would enter the coordinates then the mouse cursor goes from the top box to the bottom box not putting anything in the boxes then the screen flashes and then no flashing cursor is not seen anymore.
Now if I minimize RR and click on gasnav.exe in the folder in your RRFuelPrices plugin folder it does enter the coordinates but only the coordinates from the first time I tried it after hacking iGuidance no newer coordinates.
I tried to tailor the gasnav.exe for RRFuelPrices but nt sure if I got it right.
Ideally I would like to include the code in the plugin but I need testers as I don't use iGuidance, I have a very old copy 2.1.3, but couldn't get the gasnav.exe to work with it.
Have now updated the plugin to be compatible with the new Dynamic Menus in RR.
I replaced the gasnav.exe that is in your plugin folder in iGScripts folder that is in the DFX skin folder.
I also have iguidance 2011. If there is a way to get it to work with it that would be great. I just wouldn't know how to get it to work by myself. If there is anything you need or for me to test let me know.
I has looking at the exe with resource hacker and is missing the 1092 like my original iGuidance was too.
In the link you posted above http://www.mp3car.com/rr-plugins/904...e-addon-3.html the one guy was saying he added THE 1092.RES file but I can't find where I can get that plugin anymore to see if that would still work with iGuidance 2011.
I have no idea how you got that gasnav.exe to work.
I have just decompliled it and it is looking for the RRGas gps labels, not RRFuelprices ones.
Then I saw a folder in the DFX Skin folder that had gasnav.exe already in it. All I did was coppied the one you had and replaced the one that was in the DFX skin and it works. Don't know why but has been working ever since.
I would just like to get it working with iGuidance 2011.
I am not a programer or hacker etc but it seems like 2011 should work if I can get the 1092 folder & 1092.res file added to the exe.
What confused me at first was in the instructions that was with your plugin on how to change the iGuidance.exe file it did not say how to add the 1092. It assumes it was already there to edit.
I was looking at the old "GpsGas iGuidance addon" thread and in there someone was talking about adding the 1092.res file. I was hoping if I could get a copy of that old plugin it would have the file in it or maybe says how to create it and put it in the exe file. But that thread is long gone dead.
