I'm must be doing something wrong. Can someone advise me please .

I've downloaded the latest version, run the setup and added the required code to the skin exectbl. What else should I do as I'm getting no signs of voice recognition working (the indicator is showing for DFXVoice)? Should the automatically starting Win7 voice recognition app (that stays on top) be left running too?

I've tried searching before posting with no success, and probably missed something really basic!

    Thanks in advance,
    Dave

    Thanks anuchit.

    1.Mic set up
2.Is this not done in ExecTBL?
3.Windows VR autoloads. I'll attempt to prevent it auto-starting

    Cheers,

    Thanks again anuchit,

I've just been out to the car and added a button to the main menu (I thought the Exectbl code set this to on) and prevented Win7 VR app from auto-starting. I'm at work so it was a very quick test but happy with it at this stage . More testing tomorrow.

BTW - If anyone has a copy of the latest RRK8055 plugin (2.2.0.0, I think - for global setting) I would be most grateful so I can set my steering wheel controls to DFXVoice on/off button in whatever menu .

    Thanks,
    Dave

afaik you have to bind the command "DFXVOICE" to a hotkey or something. i attached it to my powermate and it works. waking up by saying "dfxvoice" doesn't work for me. should it?

The "DFXVoice" cmd is when u want to use a btn either in the skin or an external one. To use the wakeup part u need to have it enabled and specify what it is supposed to listen for. If using carwings, in the plugin setting scrn, press n hold the wakeup on/off btn and u should get the osk so that u can set/change the listen cmd.

I will update the installer to better explain some of these misunderstood issues.

thanks for explanation. that means that i can't enable it by the xml editor? i'm using elite 2 alpha skin, and i guess the setting screen won't work there. is there any other way to enable and/or change auto-voice (command)?

Yes, actually you can... I wasn't infront of the comp, and couldn't exactly remember if I had finished/done that part of the editor yet..
