Thread: DFXVoice – A Voice Control Plugin [v1.1.0.1 Released 09/23/2012]

Still having problems with the util. I've tried replacing the .xml from my working desktop, deleting the dfxvoice folder and reinstalling the plugin. Could it be a vb or .net issue? Any suggestions?

For a truly clean install, delete the Documents\RideRunner\Plugins\DFXVoice folder, assuming your using profile mode in Win7. U R moving the util from the util folder? trying to narrow the cause down. Its location isn't supposed to matter, but...

Blue, I think we may have found my fundemental flaw. I'll check this afternoon and report back but I've only made changes in C:\Program Files\RideRunner\Plugins\DFXVoice. After your post I read Mitch's sticky and I'm hopeful I may be able to resolve this.

Can I check with you, bearing in mind I haven't checked on a Win 7 at this point, am I correct in lauching the util app from C:\Program Files\RideRunner\Plugins\DFXVoice but need to be aware that the User specific data is in C:\My Documents\RideRunner\Plugins\DFXVoice.

Util prob sorted. It was the .xml needed putting into the Document Libraries\RideRunner\Plugins\DFXVoice and NOT the RideRunner application path folder.

Just wanted to say great work Blue and don't get discouraged!
This is an awesome plugin and can't wait until it is complete.

I know there is a lot more people that are hiding in the background like myself waiting patiently without saying their appreciation.

Thanks, I have a program that I'm actually getting paid to write, so that takes the #1 time slot over all else...that's all

I know you will get it done and time was never a factor for me either. I just wanted to show some support to let you know that there are people (like myself) that aren't saying anything in the thread but still apreciate all your hard work too. You will definitely get a donation from me once a can secure a job again. I have been out of work for a while.
