Me either, I can't tell any different between the two.

The only thing that I notice is when I use "play xxx music" and if it is a large playlist, the one that I notice it on has 3000 or so songs it has a few second lag but no complaints here (it does the same thing straight in RRMedia).

Blue, this is a terrific plugin. I am very impressed with the job you've done and can't imagine how many hours you've spent developing the plugin, working on the DFX skin and answering questions related to both. Thank you for all the hard work! Donation sent!

So far so good on XP Windows 7 32bit & 64bit.

The only problem I have is DFXVoice crashes once in a while. It seems like it will crash 1/2 the time when trying to play a certain Genre with lots of files like 3000 or so. Does DFXVoice not like Country?
It does load that list after a few seconds but DFXVoice crashes before it starts playing then I have to restart RR to do anymore voice commands.

Just found out it will crash sometimes on other ones so maybe size don't matter after all.
I was going to upload the debug and it crashed on Rock or rap (Don't remember which one) but I know they had a lot less songs.


Other than that seems real good.

I'm so far not having any issues with crashing, even when loading very large playlists. "Play Americana music" loads about 8,000 songs. It does take thirty seconds or so to get all those songs loaded, but I haven't yet experienced any crashes.

Blue, I don't use the Mobilephone plugin so I can't help with that.

I have to play around with it some more in a real world environment, my car Prob not until next week or until I get a 4 pin extension cable in.

I was using my carputer & house puters in the house trying it out. Don't know if i'm just firing too many commands in a short period of time. I was trying to wait a few seconds in between though.

But from what I have tried my car-puter is a dual boot with XP & Win 7 32bit. It seems like XP is a lot better than Win 7. On Win 7 I will get a crash about 1 out of 10 commands. Sometimes it will crash 2 commands in upon opening RR but then the next time it might take 10 commands to get a crash. (I did uninstall mobilephone.net) in Win 7 to see if that helped but it didn't. On the XP I did around 20 commands with no crash.

On my home Win 7 it seems like it was good to with no crashes. I don't know if it's a hardware thing or what. The home puter & car puter have the same processor a Intel Q6600 but the home puter has 4gb DDR2 1066 memory & the carputer has 2gb DDR2 800 & different motherboards.

Define crash

I too have not used it in the car yet, been meaning to do some updating on the carpc but time just goes missing by the time I try to get around to it.
