Anyone get the multiple songs screen yet when using a music cmd? You'll get it when you try to play a song that has more than one match in the playlist, it do that you can choose which one from which album

Yes, pretty slick - album covers and everything! Every now and then, though, when I click one of the items on the screen it immediately throws me out of RR and I have to restart RR. There doesn't seem to be any consistency to it. I'll post a log next time it happens.
Also, I'm sometimes having some trouble getting it to play songs that I choose even when it properly recognizes them. For example, if I am in the DFXVoice screen and say "Direct Play The Beatles" wait for ding and then say "Song Let it Be" I can see that it has properly recognized the commands, but it never plays the song. The listening overlay just stays there until I terminate it. Again, I haven't yet figured out a consistent set of circumstances that makes this happen. I do have a very large music collection, but I don't see any CPU or memory spikes occurring when this happens.

Okay, here's a debug file for the latest crash. I had said "Direct Play Eric Clapton" then after the ding "Badge". When a list of the matching songs appeared I clicked one and RR immediately closed. All I had was the desktop and I couldn't even get the taskbar to appear. I restarted and tried the same thing again and everything worked fine, so there doesn't seem to be any consistency to the crash. Now that I'm spending some time putting it through its paces I've had a few RR/DFX voice crashes unrelated to the multiple screen crash, though. No notices of any sort are given when the crash occurs. I'll keep messing with it to see if I can find a pattern, but so far it seems to be pretty random.
Attached is a vid showing the RR crash when I click on a song on the multiple song screen. This seems to happen randomly. It does not appear to be a problem with the file because if I do the command and click the same song again it usually works. (Sorry about all the irrelevant stuff at the end - couldn't quickly figure out how to edit it out.) Anybody else having this issue?
Here's a Riderunner debug.txt (as opposed to debug.txt of DFXVoice, which is above), but it doesn't seem to give a clue.

I tried on XP SP3 & 7 32bit with no problems here. I only tested songs I knew I had duplicates of so it would bring up the list. I tried about 20 "Direct play xxx" "song xxx" and selected every song in the list so probably a total of 60-70 songs were selected on each OS with no crashes or no follow through as you stated.
Out of all those above I never got one of my crashes as stated earlier. I wonder if mine are related to "Play xxx Music" or "Play Artist xxx"
Time will tell.
What happens? DFXVoice just stops listening if you try pressing the microphone?
If so that has happened to me 1-2 times out out of the last few days. Not bad at all for me.

RR just disappears, like in the video above. No longer showing as a process in taskmanager, though Winamp remains.

No, the other problem I'm having is not a crash. Periodically when I issue a command such as "Direct Play The Beatles (ding1)(ding 2) Song Yesterday" DFX voice will correctly interpret the command and presumably find the song since it's in the database, but will not start playing it. Either the listening overlay will disappear or it will remain with the word "listening". At that point I need to tell DFXVoice to stop listening, then re-trigger listening and it will often start playing the second time I try.
The only issues I'm having with DFXVoice are with the DirectPlay functions. Everything else is functioning perfectly. Even the DirectPlay functions are working about 80% of the time.
Just so anyone reading this thread knows, DFXVoice is an amazing plugin. It allows virtually hands free control of RR while driving. Anybody having a computer in the car should use it for the safety aspect alone, not to mention the convenience. It's just a matter of downloading and installing the plugin and buying a microphone (about $30) and a triggering device, which can be as simple as a wireless mouse ($10).

This is great, it gets better and better all the time. Now I just have to figure out all the different commands I can add to it. So I can show off more
The last few days I have been trying it out on Win 7 and had no crashes though I did stop saying "play country music" and so far no crashes. I do get the occasional crash with that one command for some reason still.
The only thing I am not sure of is the "Set Volume at fourty percent" etc that you already had in the XML file don't seem to be working for me. I though they worked on the previous version.
Thanks again Blue for this great plugin.
