    Happy New Year

Sorry, i can't reproduce the error.
the last ibus message before crash is obcspeedrpm. and it works well on my system.

Can you test with an other system?
which ibus interface do you use?

i saw in your debug file you use a RR version of august 2010.
is there a way to update your RR version? maybe the plugin uses functions, which your RR version don't support.

I don't have another system to use, but I can try updating RR. It's a Resler's USB interface.
I will let you know the outcome, thanks!

I'm sure there's a really simple answer to this that's going to make me feel stupid, but here goes:

I'm trying to map a steering wheel button to where in the audio browser it will act essentially like a mouse double-click. I've yet to find one that gets the job done. What I want is to be able to browse through folders by scrolling up or down to the folder I want and then hitting this button to open it. Once I get to all the way down to individual song files, though, I want to be able to click this same button to select one for playing.

"BROWSE" works great for moving through folders, but once I find the song I want, that command won't play it. "SELECT" is great for playing songs, but it also automatically loads folders into the playlist instead of opening them. I tried "ENTER", but that was definitely not what I was looking for.

When I'm using the mouse in testing, double-clicking works just fine. Double-click a folder to open it, double-click a song to play it. So what's the double-click command?

    Thanks.
This goes for the guys, too. Because sometimes the guys are tapped out. But check your lease, Man, 'cause you’re living in F*bleep* City!

I use the OEM head unit, so I don't have the two volume buttons mapped to the PC. Which leaves me four buttons. I have the previous and next buttons mapped mapped to "PREV" and "NEXT" except in the audio and video browsers, where I've used the exectbl.ini file to remap them to "UP" and "DOWN". Which leaves the R/T button and the phone button. I like using my R/T button as basically a global Enter key and the phone button as essentially an Esc key. So I have the phone button mapped to "ESC" (or "CANCEL", I can't remember), and I have the R/T button mapped to "PLAY".

It's that R/T button, specifically, that I'm trying to remap via exectbl.ini to basically act as a double-click in just the audio and video browsers. So in the audio browser, I use the previous and next wheel buttons to scroll up and down the list, press the R/T button to browse deeper through the file tree, and press the phone button to back out a level. I've got it this far in Ride Runner using the "BROWSE" command for the R/T button, but there is no way to actually load songs to the playlist with that command. I'm looking for a command that will both open a folder and select a song. Like a mouse double-click.

My old Media Car/ibuscomm setup worked how I describe, IIRC: Scroll through the file tree with the previous and next buttons, press R/T on a folder to enter that folder, press R/T on a song to load that folder into the playlist. Can't figure out how I did it, though.

if i understand well, you want on browser skin:

UP = scroll up in list
DOWN = scroll down in list

    R/T = .. -> browse back, folder -> browse the folder, file -> add1 to playlist
Phone Button = ESC to leave the browser skin

    is it right?
maybe this can help, otherwise you need a plugin.:
