hmm... might it possibly have something to do with the skin since we both are using the freedom skin for it, I can't possibly see how but... and are we the only two having this real strange problem...

a bit OT, does anyone know if theres a way to load a plugin when RR starts...

    Code:
    B14,701,434,95,101,"LOAD;TRIPMETER.SKIN","TRIPMETER"
I got TRIPMETER to run with this command. Thanks.

On mine, the numbers are not all wrong. However, I have to click "FUEL" everytime after I boot up RR, otherwise the numbers will not start counting. Only the GPS numbers will change.

the numbers are just labels.. no difference between rr reading them and rr sending them to the flash object. Its the plugin that's the problem.

Thought so... was just me trying to understand why it seems to be that only u and me are the ones with this problem... , guess we will have to wait until a release that uses some other way to save the decimals... since thats what I'm guessing screws it up!

New dll to fix the tripmeters not starting with RR issue attached to the first post in the thread.
Stupid me had stuff initializing on form load rather than class initialize

Nice work, even a great man can make misstakes...
one thing though... it says in the first post that the version of the new dll is 0.5.0.32... but when I unzip it the version is still 0.5.0.30!

Thanks, that worked, I'm going to try it out today, is there any change on how it saves the distances or is it just the "start" thing thats fixed...

Can you test this one for me? I went back and re-read your previous posts, then I actually understood what you were saying - and you're spot on, it's the comma causing the problems.
I can replicate what you were seeing easy enough.
I didn't realise VB's input # function treated commas in the read string as a delimiter. I've switched to pipes in tripmeter.ini in this test dll, hopefuly it will work for you.
This one's version is 0.5.0.37 if you're having caching problems

[edit - this dll removed, didn't work ]
