well that wasn't it Nothing strange about the skin names there.
I'll see if i can reproduce it. does it do it for dvds as well, or only video_player.skin?

    1/8/2007 12:43:36 PM: Executing: Exit
    This looks like it worked?
12:43:27 you execute 'VIDEO", which loads video_player.skin.
12:43:29 motionlock requests GPSSPD, then issues a 'LOAD;ml_denied.skin' from video_player.skin.
12:43:35 you hit the 'back' button on ml_denied.skin, which skips you back past video_player.skin by queuing two 'exit' commands.

but that isn't what you saw on the screen??

it does the same thing as before except now when I touch the screen, it now and quicker, to the denied skin. I can still watch movies as long as i start the movie and have the video player skin fade before the car starts moving.

if it doesnt fade in time, like adjusting volume, it WILL give me the denied skin.

    Odbii?

Could this in some way link to the ODBii speed info also? This way any car that has GPS or ODB would make this popup no matter how the speed is detected.

As for being able to get around the popup, how about a full page popup that just tells you this feature is denied (or what ever you have on your skin) during movment then 3 sec. later it goes back to the main menu.

    Different error

    Hi all,
Sorry to drag up this old thread, but I've just got my CarPC installed and am trying to get MotionLock to work.
I get an error in the debug log that says "ActiveX control could not create object." It's funny, 'cause I get this error whether MotionLock.dll is registered or not if the X,MotionLock is present in menu.skin.
I'm running Windows 2000, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it.
I appreciate this may be a Windows/RoadRunner problem rather than a MotionLock problem, but if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks.
    Sparkey.
