Yay! It works now with the DLL version.
...well, almost. I can't get any of the buttons to do anything (fly to, directions, etc.). Maybe I'm not typing in the address with correct syntax.
I tried:
1950 Sawtelle, 90025
1950 Sawtelle Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025
1950 Sawtelle Blvd Los Angeles CA 90025
etc.
The address bar, clear, and gps toggle all work, but none of the other buttons on the bottom do anything.
Feature requests:
If I show the left bar (ctrl-alt-b), RR closes it again right away. I would rather have a toggle on/off button for it as I may want to turn layers on/off.
KML Log: I would like this to take the place of GPS Secure by saving the KML log and periodically uploading it to a server or copying it to a flash key.
GAS/
iGuidance compatibility: We now have Gas prices showing the route in iGuidance (awesome!)... I would like it to also do the same in RREarth, and even better, make it so when you plot a route in iGuidance or RREarth, it automatically plots the route in the opposite program as well. That way I can type a route once in to either program and then toggle between the two.
Car Icon: Can you change the GPS location icon in RREarth to a pic of your car?
Other GooPs features: Mostly tracking all your friends in GE, but the speed track and other features of GooPs are also cool. I really liked being able to switch between freeway/street/chase-mode zoom/tilt angles using my SKINbedder GooPs skin. I'm going to miss that, but it is well worth it for the ability to enter addresses which my GooPs solution lacked.
Anyway, great work Guino. Please keep expanding upon this project as it truly is the nav system of the future now that more and more people are getting internet in the car. Plus it's free and always up to date with every possible POI. Can't beat that.
