I will add an option for the GPS to be off at startup, as for the directions, I'll make you another DLL for you to test, just please confirm you have the latest GE version and that you have it set to english.

i still dont get whats going on with caching in google earth. I transferred the cache i built to my car pc in the correct location. It overwrote the previous cache. But if i start without internet the detail is not there. Can anyone that has built and transferred a cache suggest a step by step on how to get it working. I know the detail was cached correctly because i sat there for HOURS and watched it working lol.

also in my attempts to get the cache working i deleted the RREARTH network link in GE. How do i get that back?

its the most recent version you posted in this page. Then i tried the 10-30 release and it did the same thing. It was working fine without internet then with no changes at all this happened. i havent updated GE at all.
