yes, set debugmode=true in RR.INI and post it, you can also try the beta DLL on post# 215.
Yep, GE itself runs fine. Does it matter where I installed it to?
Anything else I can do wrong? Is there any debug output? I mean from RR not from the plugin?

Try the beta .dll. The release one does not do anything when I click it either. The beta DLL loads, but none of the fly-to/direction buttons work for me (note: the beta dll also keeps the left nav-pane open instead of closed).

This is using the dll from post #215...
can you post the whole log and the rrearth.txt from c:\ ?

None of that log is useful. There should be another line at the top of the log that talks about the error loading RREarth. You should just post the whole debug.txt as an attachment (and RREarth.txt from your C:\ root as well).
If you do not have a C:\ as you said before I believe, you could always map a network drive or set a flash-key to be C:\ in order to get the log.
GUINO: Did you look at my logs? Any ideas yet?
I tried it on my work computer with the BlueDevil skin. It didn't load at all. There was no RREarth.txt in the root. Here are the relivant debug lines:
Code:11/13/2006 3:30:29 PM: Error loading plugin: Mp3Art (ActiveX component can't create object) 11/13/2006 3:30:29 PM: Error loading plugin: ReflexPlugin (ActiveX component can't create object) 11/13/2006 3:30:29 PM: Error loading plugin: Milage" (ActiveX component can't create object) 11/13/2006 3:30:29 PM: Error loading plugin: RREarth (ActiveX component can't create object)
did you register any of those plugins ?? the only time those errors come up is if they were not registered propperly.
I did look at your logs and have uploaded another DLL to try and figure out what's going on with your install RPM. Please test and post the logs as before.

I registered RREarth using your bat file. I did not even know about the other plugins BlueDevil used until I saw that log. I will try out the DLL and see if I can get it running at work. I will send you the logs from my home PC with the new DLL as soon as I get home. Thanks.
EDIT: It didn't register because my windows is in c:\winmce. I changed the .bat file to "@%windir%\system32\regsvr32 RREarth.dll" and it registered fine now. You should use that in your release as well.
New DLL works perfect (at work)!!!
...and you even had it start up with GPS off as well. Awesome! Now just allow me to close the left-nav and I'm in business (preferably auto-close it on startup, but then allow it to be opened/closed via ctrl-alt-b).
(do you still want the log files even though it worked?)
