Needed: BETA Testers for Google Earth Plugin

there are some of us who have internet in the car all the time. if i were to get google earth working as a navigation system, i would be willing to invest in whatever it costs to get internet from my cell phone company. heres what i think the ideal set up is:

-the screen is just like the video player screen: a bar at the bottom (or top or wherever) has all your options and buttons and whatnot, but it disappears after a set amount of seconds. touching the screen brings it back.
-as far as travelling from place to place, a button would bring up an OSK to type in as much information as you know about your destination. it would then list all of the options (in order of distance) for you to choose from.

ive already found stuff like this around the forum (and on this thread) but its all flash stuff and i cant edit it. a specific "googleearth.skin" with its own labels and buttons and what not would be incredible. that would give people the option of skinning their own. i know this is a ton to ask for, but this would be a really neat feature to have in a car: especially for me because google earth is goin on my 20" LCD.

A system that relies on Internet access for navigation is going to be very undependable. I'm using a Sprint EVDO air card in my car. Though the coverage is pretty good, once I get outside of major urban areas it quickly switches to 1X or no signal at all. Using it for navigation would be worse than useless.

I don't think he meant 100% internet, yea that would be major stupid considering even in my home wifi can drop time to time.

What would rock would be Google Earth with the ability to download (maybe ship DVD) maps like regular GPS software. You could specify a download of maps based on resoultion for Google Earth (we would be taking about serious GB here though, but I've got it).

Having internet (for other things also) but for stuff like gpsgate stuff is nice.

Its time to change of mobo and procesor (actualy I have P4 2.2ghz) and works exelent but mobo are big and its power expensive. Dual core are money expensive and my election can be Jetway c7 2.0ghz System. But my principal fear is earth plugin work fine.

Google earth can work fast and good in a Jetway c7 2.0ghz mobo?

Not sure about the mobo, but I had it working fine on a Celeron 1.8ghz.

I developed and tested this plugin in my Centrino 1.2Ghz and it worked fine.. I think your main concerns should be RAM and Video Memory.

In this notebook Pentium M 1.0Ghz good GREAT, but in epia M1000 run ugly, maybe only work good with Intel procesors with good video card, i dont know what kind of video card have the JETWAY C7 2.0Ghz, any ideas or testings??

Really i have fear, i live in mexico and buy from usa is HARD and if i buy wrong mobo i can cry, jejej.
