Needed: BETA Testers for Google Earth Plugin

I fixed the issue

adding "ESC","MENU;menu.SKIN" to the exectbl.ini

and using the "ESC" command did the trick

I still have issues with 4.2 when in road only mode where it still loads the satilite imagary

I cannot get the GE embeded. Here is what I have done:

1-Installed the last GE version.
2- Installed Ride Runner.
3- Copied the pierrotm777 skin inside the main Carwings_Dynamic_Lite folder.
4- Edited the main Carwings_Dynamic_Lite skin with the Ride Runner editor and added a buttom, put command "LOAD;RREARTH.SKIN||GE_EMBED"
5- Changed the exectbl.ini as you described, Myapp11.
When I press the new buttom starts the skin by pierrotm777 but when press the options and GE starts doesn´t start embeded, it starts normally.
My XP is spanish, so my folder is not c:/program files/ is c:/archivos de programa
Do I need to change anything? Create some googleearth.ini or something? What may be wrong?

Hell, tried the .dll you posted for G5 and it works. Why did you not post in the first post?

Have two questions:

1- If the original skin is 800x600 can´t be modified? If my laptop has 1280x756 resolution I must look for a skin for that?
2- Is there any way to change te position icon? I mean, by default, the position is on the center on the screen, when using a more horizontal angle, you see with more detail in the back. It would be better (like typical gps) to have the 80% for the screen to see de destiny and only 20% to see backwards. Can´t this be changed anyway?

X,RREARTH is added to menu.skin file

I know that this plugin is a bit finnicky. I ended up going back to version 4.2 of google earth to get everything to work as it should since i do use it so much

I have just tested the new Google Earth 5.2 version .

The plugin is no compatible with this 5.2 version .

Google Earth is launched but the screen stay black !:clock:

After to reset my computer, now the plugin run well with GE 5.2, but after 2 minutes, the computer freeze and i must to use the reset button !

It's a GE issue or a plugin issue ?

when the computer freezes: can you use CTRL+ALT+DEL to start task manager and kill GE/RR ?? If you can NOT do that, then this is a HARDWARE/DRIVER issue, not a software issue (not GE/RR at least).

I tried Google Earth 5.2 just my curiosity, and only a black screen appears with a plugin. Task manager shows RR cpu utilization is 50% with dual core.

if you restart RR , the plugin run well but RR freeze after one minute

Trying to make this work in the default carwings skin and can't seem to get it to work.

Using GE 5.0

-Unzip the package wherever you'd like to run it from (unzipped to riderunner/plugins folder)
-Register RREarth.dll (regsvr32 rrearth.dll) (done as administrator because of W7)
-Add to menu.skin ONLY: X,RREarth (added to the .skin file)
-Copy the files under the "Test skin" folder to your skin of choice (done, to carwings)
-Make a button with the code "GE_START" to load the above skin with GE in it. (added button "GE_START||GE_EMBED")

It loads RREarth.skin but I just get a black screen.
If GE is closed it wont try to open it, and if its open it wont embed.

Any ideas to what I could have done wrong?
