    OK,

For the people having troubles to get the plugin to work please use the attached dll. This dll will create a k8055debug.txt with some debug info. Please let me know the results.

    Thanks

here's my debug log. Hope it helps. Just in case I de-registered and re-registered the dll. Had trouble finding the k8055debug file. It was in the road runner gamma folder for some reason

This is indeed strange. I'm writing the debug file in the same location as I'm expecting the rrk8055.ini. Can you copy the k8055d.dll and the rrk8055.dll and the rrk8055.ini to this directory and try again?

thanks for this brilliant plugin, only problem i have it it is that i have to load the relays skin before it will work, i have moved the X,RRK8055 from the relay skin to the menu skin but i still have to load the relays skin before it will work.

    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Hurray. Success. If I put the files in my gamma folder everything works perfectly. Now why does it look in the gamma folder. I have checked my rr config and all seems ok. I haven't actually set the ini file path on rr config, could this be it?

Since I don't want to use a fixed path but use the one Road Runner is using this could be it. When the plugin loads it is using the current directory of the road runner process. If this has been set to the gamma folder for some reason (maybe your are using gamma functionality in your skin) the plug in will load from there. I can set a working directory in the rrk8055.ini but still the rrk8055.ini will have to be in the current dir or I can move it to the windows\system32 dir (which I don't like)

I'm happy it now works for you.

What are you using on the first screen? If you're only loading the plugin and want to use the menu functionality try putting one off the digital-in indicators on the first screen. This will in fact initialize the board for you. Loading the DLL will not initialize the hardware. The first access to one of the k8055 objects will.

I,391,13,43,40,"k8055_di_bit_4" should do the trick (4 is fourth bit counting from 1, last bit is 5)

Got my board all put together and the demo seems to run just fine.

regged the dll inside RR however the only thing that seems to work inside the
road runner skin are the counters. I can press the buttons and the numbers change, but there is no levels on the sliders.

    Attached is my debug
