Thanks for the suggestion Big, just to let you know, that as already been added to the eLite Lite II release, you will have a option to display the current way with the the album information only , or the new way with the playlist information. I have also added a restore playlist option to the playlist screen. Every time the current playlist is modified (adding or deleting a song or album from the playlist) the playlist gets saved. It is like an undo option.

Please keep those suggestions coming.

My RRConfig is setup identically to your screenshot, and my iGuidance folder doesn't have a theme.ini, yet some of those side buttons still don't work. What version of iGuidance are you using. I used iGuidance 4.0 to test it when I released the skin. It should still work for iGuidance 3.0.

Hey, I'm having a bit of a problem with the skin where if I try to use the video or DVD player, media player classic covers the entire screen and I can't get back to Road Runner without closing the video player manually.
I've tested other skins and none have this problem, any clue what might be causing this?
I'm using the latest MPC and RR versions.

Looking at it under the microscope (SkinEditor); not sure why the button commands are so complex but i would change them to just "VIDEO" and "DVD" and see what happens..

is there an estimated release date of elite lite 2?
im in the proccess of builiding my own car-pc and i would love to customize it to my need , for now im working on 1 but if the release date is soon then ill wait for 2

Ok, I've read this thread and the wifiman related one but still experiencing problems. Maybe something to do with the OS language?

When I enter the WiFi screen I can't see the right side, it's empty:

it appears only after that I touch one of the arrows on the left side, but the result is not good!

Any ideas?

It works fine on XP. The arrows work as they should.

If suavecito ever releases the PSD's (or equiv) I can get a couple more buttons added in, but for now, had to cannibalize the skin selector screen for this one, meaning no refresh button.

Pardon the fuzzy type... apparently this plug-in doesn't work on Vista (see V2 below), so had to remote into my laptop to do the fine-tuning. One down-side, clear type gets disabled. The typeset is fine in the car.

Plug-in files and premodded skin/image files are included. Any support for the plug-in itself needs to be directed to this thread.

Both versions are included in the archive file.

Also, it shows the status as OFF on V1, but it's on.... V2 has the status removed altogether and has refresh/connect/disconnect buttons in its place.

I'll double check the archive, but it appears you may be using an out of date skin file.

Just a guess, but I suspect you are not using English, therefore the window title will not be in English, so it will not match the one defined in the execTBl.ini

look for this line

"WIRELESS","LOAD;wireless.skin;WIFI;;Wifi Information||SETTOPMOST;RR;TRUE||RUNQW;$SKINPATH$w ireless.exe||SETTOPMOST;RR;FALSE||ACTIVATE;Wifi Information"

and change 'Wifi Information' to the window name you have.

At this time I really don't know when the skin will be ready, but hopefully by the end of the month the 800 X 480 will be ready. The 800 X 600 should follow shortly after that. eLite Lite 2 is a complete rebuild of most of the screen graphics and skin files. This is what is currently delaying the release.

As for you customizing the skin, I don't know what your level of experience is in creating skins. But for a beginner I would recommend eLite Lite 1, for experienced creators I would recommend waiting for eLite Lite 2.

I can tell you that eLite Lite 2 will be harder to customize if you have no experience with creating skins. The skin works by calling files (INC) and using variables. This is allowing me to create the screens in half the time and allows me to added some more features.
