    patiently waiting eLite lite 2!
    well.. maybe not patiently

    some features to throw in maybe..
    - an "add all music" to playlist.
    - browse by artist, album, title, ect.

    if it had all that, i do believe it would be abslolutely perfect

    Well, for adding all music to the playlist, why don't you just add all music to a playlist within Winamp, setup the directory to the playlists within RRConfig, and then in eLite you can just select the playlist you just made, and presto! All music will be at your disposal.

    That was a good idea anarchist. i decided to find a way to automatically create a playlist at startup to search through my media folder as to 'dynamically create' and so that it didn't add any playlists that may be in the directories and add songs twice.

    I came up with this little batch file...

    @echo off
    dir /o:n /s /b *.mp3 *.wma *.m4a *.m4p> Playlist.m3u

    save it in notepad as makem3u.bat and put it in a root location that will see all your music. you can add file types by typing in *.extension where the four are already located. then have the batch file run at start-up to keep it updated.

    I'm not sure how long it will take to be honest. I only experimented with 4 folders. i'll give it a shot when i go home to see how it does with a much larger library.

    Thanks!

    I tested it last night with my current library on my carpc and it only took about 10 seconds. unfortunately it had a command window open to do so. I also changed it to send it to a different location so when I set my playlist directory it only picks up that one, not all of the others in the music folders. I suppose alternatively i could've named it _Library.m3u to get it to come up first, but its just the way i went.

    @echo off
    dir /o:n /s /b *.mp3 *.wma *.m4a *.m4p> e:\Playlists\LIBRARY.m3u

    thats the new one.

    Cheers.

    Curious Has anyone got Garmin Mobile working with this skin yet? I plan to use this skin but If I can't get Garmin to work then its kinda pointless. I searched the thread but didn't really find anyone actually getting it to work.

    I can gladly say that yes, I have it installed, and it works perfectly. But, in order to get it to work, you need to install the Garmin Mobile PC OSK plugin:

    Read up on that, and follow the directions. If you are still having problems, just PM me, and I will set you up with the right files.

    Introducing eLite Frost

    Hey guys quick update:

    eLite Lite 2:

    I am still working on it. It's a complete rebuild in both the code and screens images form eLite Lite 1.2. At this point I don't when it will be released.

    Introducing eLite Frost:

    eLite Frost is the same as the currently released version of eLite Lite.
    eLite Frost is meant for those of you who feel that the black version is too dark or that just need a higher contrast version for daytime.
    There is no newly added features at this point.

    The only difference between eLite Lite and eLite Frost is in the way that it is coded. eLite Frost uses the same code from the unreleased version of eLite which maybe a little complicated to modify if you are a novice at creating skins.

    I am currently testing and putting some final touches on the skin. I will release it within a week, so check back for the download link.
