That is really a pain, in the video that suavecito post the top line of his artist has "..." which will take him back how do I set mine up to do that?
2. Not sure if I have to set winamp up a certain way but, when I go threw my music and hit the "Add" button to add it to the playlist nothing shows up/gets added.
3.If I hit the visuals button in the player(not that I need this feature), nothing shows up but a blank screen.(If I minimize RR, winamp does have its visuals box up and running tho)
4. When I hit the Browser button, it does not embed into the player instead it opens up like if you would normally do it from the desktop.
5. I know that all my music files have the Album Art with them, they show up if I play them in WMP but for winamp I do not see them?
Any help with these would be great guys thanks!

Music:
What version of winamp are you using?
I am using 2.95

I don't know how your music is stored on your system but I store my music like this:

My Music <-- the root folder were my music is stored
-Artist Folder<-- artist name ex: Linkin Park
--Album Folder <-- album title ex: Minutes To Midnight
---MP3 Files <-- ex: Shadow Of The Day.mp3
---Folder.jpg <-- require inorder to diplay the coverart unless you are using Mp3Art.dll that displays embed coverart like WMP.

Web:
Make sure that in the RR Config under General --> Page 3 you select Internet Explorer as you web browser and not Firefox

Visuals:
Make sure that in the RR Config under Music --> Page 2 you select AVS Window under Visualizatoin Plugins

I was using 2.95(I think is this the one that is available when you download RR? The adding thing still didn't work then), but right now im using the newest like 5.55 just because I was trying to get the ipod integration to work.

My music is stores as:

Car Music
>>Artist
>>MP3 File

Web and visual prob were just a simple rr config fix.

Ipod integration:

The ipod intergration works directly with RR, you don't need winamp 5.55 to do this.
However it must be an Ipod Classic or older or Ipod Nano (I haven't tested the 4th gen) the Itouch and Iphone 2g/3g do not work. They will only show up as camera on you system.

Music:

The reason you do not see the "...." and get taken back to the root has to do with your folder structure.

One way to get around this it to use Winamp's Library and do a scan. This will show your mp3s by artist, albums, genre, etc....
The thing is that every time you added new music you have to redo the scan.
In winamp rightclick --> Library --> Library --> Add directory to library

This is the reason I keep mine like this

my music
-artist
--album
---tracks
---folder.jpg

Hopefully this helps the Add function also.

Hey, there's an easy way around the command window popup when running batch files. What I do for script files is to launch a shortcut of the BAT file instead. The shortcut has the benefit of allowing you to launch the program in Normal, Minimized or Maximized view. To do this, just create a shortcut of your batch file, right click the shortcut and select Properties. You will see a field labeled Run with a dropdown box. Select Minimized from this dropdown and apply the changes. When you launch your batch file now, it should ran minus the command prompt window.

Anyone have any insight why my zoom and 2d/3d view buttons dont work?? see above posts for info.

First of all I really like this skin. Testing it on two systems, xp and vista 32 bit. Almost ready to install my PC into my truck but I'm having one small problem with RR, Iguidance UMPC and elite lite.

It works perfect on Vista but in my XP system the zoom and 2d/3d button are acting weird. I'll try to explain:

When I zoom using the plus and minus buttons on the Iguidance screen all is good, but when I try to zoom and change from 2d/3d it locks my mouse cursor and in zoom mode it goes to the max zoom. On 2d/3d it flickers for about 5 seconds then stops. all the while locking my mouse cursor.


My xp system is the D945GCLF2, 2 GB RAM, 400 GB SATA HD.

Any clue whats going on? Please keep it simple though, my knowledge of computers is very basic

Edit: OK both systems are doing this now.....

As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the buttons you pointed out don't work for me either.

im def super excited for the release of the new version. ha its going to be AMAZING!

but i did just notice something. when using the built in dimmer, when it dims for night there is some text that shows up in the upper left corner that looks like this:


Click screen to continue

enter text

Click screen to continue


but the "Click screen to continue" is white.
it only happens on this skin and ive updated everything. ideas?

Any update as to when the skin will be released? (Looking forward to it!!)
