    if you got it working with autohotkey why not just use it?
    also did you try autoit script?
    for me it did better job at things like that than sendkey / autohotkey

    also in autoit you can compile it to exe then run it in rr easily..
    HeadUnit : Car-Pc | Processor : JBL MS-8 | Front Stage : Woofer - Mpyre 65M , Mid - Dayton RS100-4 , Tweeter - Tang-Band Ceramic 25-1719S | Subwoofer : Hertz HX250D | Amps : A/D/S PQ10 , Hifonics Olympus XI , SPL AB03445 | Wiring : Sommer , Neutrik

    Autohotkey works correctly when I use it manually; if I put the SENDKEYcode to trigger autohotkey in a RR skin button it simply fail!
    Autohotkey also let you compile your scripts to exe and I used my compiled script for testing. Why autoit is better? You did control succesfully some embedded application with autoit?

    I have the same sendey key problem with an autoit script who send sendkey to RR .
    I said to Guino that my sendkey don't run, He answer me that senkey is not full complet in RR .

    May be in a last RR release !!!

    i used it for some other stuff..
    the compiled autohotkey not working good for you?

    i haven't used autohotkey much but i think autoit script might be better

    just use :
    Code:
    WinActivate ( "ZSNES" )
    Send("p")
    see if works

    another thing you can try is maybe using kanakey ( running it from inside rr or using it to call autohotkey or whatever you want )

    good luck

    Tried AutoIt with the four SEND commands and "runq" on every skin button. It works but I needed to add a delay on every keystroke, maybe a zsnes related issue.
    Thank you all for suggestions.

    I forgot to say there's another little issue on my zsnes skin. I'm sure you all know how to solve, so tell me!

    In the roms browser when I choose the rom then play SELECT button all goes right.
    If I select the rom using a double tap on screen (i.e. double click on the list) then the selected rom is loaded by winamp...
    I'm not so good with lists but I think it's a standard behaviour for this object type, I just need to know how to change it and execute the command sequence as in the select button!!

    Pls help!

    Sorry, I forgot to put these in my previous post.

    Quit ZSNES:
    Code:
    WinActivate ( "ZSNES" )
    Opt("SendKeyDownDelay", 50)
    Send("{ESC}")
    Open State:
    Code:
    WinActivate ( "ZSNES" )
    Opt("SendKeyDownDelay", 50)
    Send("{F4}")
    Save State:
    Code:
    WinActivate ( "ZSNES" )
    Opt("SendKeyDownDelay", 50)
    Send("p")
    Pause game:
    Code:
    WinActivate ( "ZSNES" )
    Opt("SendKeyDownDelay", 50)
    Send("{F2}")
    I put the 4 executables inside a Zsnesw folder inside the RR plugins folder and every button on the nintendogame.skin have a RUNQ command as follow:

    Quit
    Code:
    "RUNQ;$pluginspath$Zsnesw\quit.exe||EXIT"
    Open
    Code:
    "RUNQ;$pluginspath$Zsnesw\open.exe||EXIT"
    Save
    Code:
    "RUNQ;$pluginspath$Zsnesw\save.exe||EXIT"
    Pause
    Code:
    "RUNQ;$pluginspath$Zsnesw\pause.exe||EXIT"

    Attached to this post you'll find every file (I hope!) needed to have the zsnes skin working.
    The zsnes program folder is located inside the RR root folder. The roms are elsewhere.
    You need to change the rom's path inside the skin.ini and add a button on your entertainment screen to call the nintendo.skin screen. I've included the zsnes png icon I've created and I'm using on that button.

    Any doubt, just ask me!
