Okey so i've got this bug with elite and Garmin PC.
Is it win7 to blame ? This is just my test - rig , my carpc uses win xp..
Any ideas ?
Hi pir4t. All you need to do is is open RR config and select remove windows toolbar when open. It is a Win7 bug but easily solved by that setting> I use Win7 as my main carpc OS now so deffo fixes it.
Okay, This is my first attempt at embedding, and I'm trying to embed DashCommand into eLite. I've been able to run it through the applications tab but I want to make it run through its own button. I've managed to get an obd button onto the tools screen. I copied the audio_visuals.skin and renamed it to obd.skin. When I click on the obd button it does go to the new obd.skin but no program starts running.
This is the part i'm unsure about, i've went in to the apps file and in the define appscommand29 line it has
Did I miss a step somewhere, i've searched and can't seem to find an answer. Thanks for any help!!
The best way to add is command is to add it to the ExecTBL.ini. The problem is that the command is not being saved to the skin.ini. Try the following:
1. Add the following somewhere in the ExecTBL.ini:
2. Replace appscommand29 line in the apps.txt with:Code:"Dashcommand","LOAD;obd.skin;OBD;c:\Program Files\Dashcommand\Dashcommand.exe;Dashcommand"
Code:/DEFINE APPCOMMAND29 Dashcommand
I'm still having a bit of an issue. It now says dashcommand not found and won't load anything. I copied the line into the exectbl file, I just put it on the bottom, I attached the file of what it looks like, is there a different place I should have put it? Thanks a lot for your help!
The placement shouldn't matter. I have tested this and it works.
1. Try the following command in the EXECTBL file:
2. Clear the Dashcommand button from your menuCode:"Dashcommand","LOAD;obd.skin||RUN;c:\Program Files\Dashcommand\Dashcommand.exe;Dashcommand"
3. Make sure you replaced the appscommand29 line with:
4. Add it to your menuCode:/DEFINE APPCOMMAND29 Dashcommand
First of all thanks suavecito for this beautiful skin, have to be one of the best piece of art around. Thanks again.
Now this is for any one who can help, I'd tried to look for info on this, but can't find a solution. If it had been done already, please accept my apologies, hate it when the light at the end of the tunnel is just a 90 degree with 2 steps away. Well here goes, I been trying to incorporate the Safely Eject USB devices as a button, but can't seem to do it. With eLite Lite skin, it allow me to add a button, but how do I refer it to the actual application of Safely Eject USB Devices. Thanks in advance for any assistance or point in the general direction.
