I already have seen that "function" but its not very usefull if its a bright sunny day.It is "DAY" skin... as well as night skin. Visibility depends of monitor, with good sun readable monitor you can see skin clearly day and night.
I`m always using Tablet PC`s with touchscreen and the touchsurface is blocking some light thats right.
For now i`m using a EeePC T91MT , which has a very bright display and Multitouch.
I attached a picture with a comparison of the Skins i mean (installed FP), the Camera was set to manual mode with same settings.

3) Soon I hope, I still have few things to do and now I update my own CarPC from XP to Win7 and when I get all runing I'll continue with Reborn. I believe that the beginning of April I get new version out and it will be a full version, not update. What kind of settings you're talking about?
you could just register RR, and get a free license key, and then it wont ever show you the reminder...

Well I know what you're talking. I have EeePC 901 with touchscreen and I do not see anything outdoors in bright day. Those are piece of... pardon the expression.
Buy a decent sun readable screen and you will be surprised.
Here's my CarTFT CTF700-SH V2 - VGA 7" TFT (600nits) TRANSFLECTIVE PRO in bright day.
Yes thats looking very nice, but the resolution of only 800*480 is to low for me and 7 inch by is far too small.
I`m not only using RR on it, i`m also using the Internet Browser for Geocaching and some other stuff, so the 1024*600 on the EeePC is the minimum resolution i need.
I searched long time to find a payable sub 10 inch 16:90/10 display but with no success
The second thing is that i mounted the tablet in a way that i can pull it out any time i need so i can search caches on a large Screen
Yesterday night i just invertet all the jpegs in the skin folder, but there are still some issues with transparency and the font color (didn`t found out how to change them yet)

No, altough it has 10,2 inch, the physical resolution is only 800*480 pixel, my 8,9" T91 already has 1024*600.
the only one i know is the 10,1" from Pixel QI, but nowhere available.

I changed the skin (Amber color) by myself today.
It was a lot more work than i first thought
Altough the quality of the jpegs is on some screens a little bit bad, but its still much better readable than as dark skin.

MediaLaunch removable device (USB) indicator added to the audio and video screens.
Valid GPS position indicator added to menu.
Sygic FLEET, iGuidance and FreeDrive added to GPS selector.
DVD screen fixed in April 2011 RideRunner so DVD screen is back.
Camera screen changed to work with MiniCam. Download MiniCam from Curious Tech
and set path to MiniCam.exe in ExecTBL.
