I love the skin, but how do you change the "HIBERNATE" option to "SLEEP"? I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate and need to have the PC "sleep" so that it supplies power for my USB touchscreen.

You have missing fonts issue. Reborn installer should install all necessary fonts... but some reason fonts didn't installed in your case.
You can manually install fonts, you can find fonts from RideRunner\Skins\Reborn\HELP\FONTS folder.

I'm still encountering some weird problem that I can't figure out. I held the eject button to figure out what it did, and saw it popped up with the screen. I exited that screen and since then all of my songs on the list have had their numbers listed twice as in:

01 01 - song title

Also before messing with that button I remember the top would show the current song playing and have it scrolling. Now it just shows the track number and nothing else.

So my question is what is the purpose of the screen that pops up when holding the eject button, and how do I go about making it stop listing all my songs with two copies of the track number and get it to scroll at the top again?

Once again thanks, and I can't wait to figure out all the tricks of this amazing skin!

Open CONFIG.skin in notepad, look button B14 and change HIBERNATE command to STANDBY

Holding eject button launch MediaLaunch pop up screen and it can not mess your songs, names or track numbers. Only what pop up screen does is that you can load CD, DVD or music from usb stick if you have set MediaLaunch correctly.
You find instructions how to set up MediaLaunch from RideRunner\Skins\Reborn\SCRIPTS\MediaLaunch folder. Basicly drive letter is only thing you need to set.

I can't say why your track numbers show twice but I know it has nothing to do with MediaLaunch pop up screen.

One thing you could check from RRConfig, go to Music -> Tags & Formatting and check if you have "Numbered Playlist" selected?

Also if you have iList ON you shouldn't not see track numbers at all.

Well, first of all thank you for the skin. It is the best so far in general, but there are only one thing that I'd like to change.
I would prefer to choose instead of the logo in *.png a *.swf (if I remember the extension correctly) just to have a clock in the middle of the screen.

Please advise if it is possible to do in the first place and if it is not how that could be done. Thank you

well its been awhile since i helped work on this skin , in the begining ,, i see now its come along way since then .. nice one Darty....

anyway logo main menu

open in note pad ,,, the 3 menu skin files at the very bottom you will see this line

/, IMG, x, y, w, h, File Name, Option;IMGLAYER
IMG,318,181,164,204,"$SKINPATH$LOGOS\CAR\$LOGOPREV IEW$",ALL

change it to

F,318,181,164,204,"$SKINPATH$XXXX.swf"

$skinpath$ means the swf file is in the skin folder somewhere

you'll need to do this to all 3 menu.skin files
you may need to ajust the size of the area which can be done in skin editor or note pad again


318 = Hieght , 181 = width Position ,,,, 164 = hieght , 204 = width of the area size ,, i think that right lol

F,318,181,164,204,"$SKINPATH$XXXX.swf"

i'm very sure Dartman will help if you get stuck

yes still around ,,, busy busy busy lol... until you sent your pm , i actually thought skype was on ,,, wondered why its been SO quite lol....
i did a reinstall when i started helping steve out ,,, forgot to install skype doh!,,, i'll try and set it up over weekend , hope i rememeber my user and pass lol...
