I must have confused with another thread where they explain how to use USB radio. That is absolutely gray area for me.

Hi,

I have just moved from CF to RR. After lookign at a whole bunch of skins I have settled on Reborn as it does almost everything I want without being too busy.

I however have two small issue which I am unsure of how to correct.

1. I cannot get the preset buttons on the radio skin to work
2. When I resume from hibernate the radio reset to another station however if I restart it remembers the station I was on. I have to change to another station and back again to get it to work.

Otherwise, thanks for an awesome skin.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciate

waynePnr, you might want to mention more info...

rr version
what kind of radio

things like that

in reborn, presets (buttons 1 -8) are press and hold
and the presets are stored in the FMPresets folder

I am running the last version of rr (Feb) and I am using the ADStech RDX-155 FM USB radio.

I have tried the presss and hold as that seemed logical but it doesnt seem to store the channel. Will look a little deeper to see if there is a permissions issue or somethign similar.

This is just a wild guess, do you have "FMPresets" folder in RR root or "C:\Users\username\Documents\RideRunner\Config " folder? Location depends are you in profile or legacy mode.

Thanks Dartman_71, that solved the problem with the presets.

The radio still does not remember the station it was on when it comes out of hibernation, any ideas on how to correct this?

Sounds like RR installer doesn't make FMPresets folder, I don't know should it do, that's Mitch's job to know.
I remember vaguely that I had same problem when I start to mess with RR a few years ago... but my memory doesn't serve me very good anymore hehe.

I can't help you with hibernation issue. I have Directed HD radio in car and Silabs USB in home, both resume in last station when wake up from hibernate. I don't know if there some difference between Silabs USB and ADStech RDX-155 FM USB which may cause hibenate issue.

1- i have installed garmin mobile pc and configured it in config menu and exectbl.ini, sed when i click on the gps button it don't play automatically.. why ?
2- how can i see DVB on this skin? you say: "DVB skin on the right side is a hidden button which opens and hide DVB buttons." but i don't see this button.. where is it ?

1- Double check Garmin path in exectbl.ini. If path to Que.exe is correct and you have select Garmin in config menu, all should be fine.

2- You need to have DVB Viewer software installed and configured with you DVB device. Also you need DVB Viewer plugin.
Hidden button is invisible area on the right side of screen, when you touch it buttons show.
