...well, as I'm a complete nOOb with any kind of software customization, I'm stuck ... had navigation software up and running using Carwings skin but can't make it (mean add to) working in Reborn

went through 36 pages of this topic reading and all what I've got is headache

...looked under RR skin folder digging for Reborn skin folder and .skin files but nothing here ...found carwings, bmw e36 and two others but no Reborn... so where these files are and how to add GPS and Navigation buttons to .... i know, probably it was on the table already but can you or somebody point me in right direction please

in short : how to make it to be like yours from pictures, with phone, gps and other stuff

any help deeply appreciated

You didn't tell what navigator you use... but after you locate Reborn folder, there is exectbl.ini file and when you open with notepad you see there is section "program paths" where is navigation program paths, you need to edit path to match yours.
Then run RR and in Reborn skin click config button, then gps button and select navigation from list.
or... if you have set your navigation settings in RR config, then you can also select "custom" from Reborn gps list.

If you have installed RR to legacy mode then Reborn folder is in RideRunner\Skins folder
or...
If you have installed in profile mode then Reborn folder is in C:\Users\Username\Documents\RideRunner\Skins folder

Hmm.. Navigator 9

Select custom from Reborn config gps list and try something like this in RR config.
Settings are for PC Navigator 12 free but worth of trying.

thx mate, it worked with carwings with no problem

used navigator 9 for testing purpose only as couldn't make my nokia bt gps working with garmin
wow, managed to add new button messing up with menu.lst and menu.ini

and have working navi in Reborn

this can't be true ...cant believe... it was so easy

quick extra question: can't change from km/h back to date, is there any trick to do that? tried tips from first page and only this one won't work mean switch back to original state

Press and hold km/h label to change it back to date.

tried this but date won't come back...
btw when pressing it, selection menu popped out with select button function: tv, phone etc.... tried again but nothing. any idea how I've got it, cheers

Did you PRESS and HOLD actual km/h text in upper display? if you pressing date-km/h label and button function pop up show up, then you have something seriously wrong there.
I don't know what files you have change or edit but event what you describe should not happen.
Button function pop up show up only when you press and hold some one of the six buttons in menu one, two or three.
