You need to use the Xport splitter if you use Igo in same time than RR !
Define com5 as in com port for Xport , define a virtual com port for igo and another virtual com port for RR !!!

Yes, the actual program runs fine every time. I just cannot get it to latch onto the GPS completely. The somewhat strange thing is that when set to Com 5, and the top of the screen says connected to 5 SATS, there is no sign of the connected line in BlueSoleil.

I'll give Xport a go now Pierro

EDIT: Woo hoo. I've spent bleedin hours on this

    Another question folks.

I wanted to add a Bluetooth indicator to this skin. I was trying to amend MENU_ON.png but when edited, it then makes the background of all buttons white when I hover over them. OK, so I need to make the png transparent I thought !! But when I did this, a tool I used made a transparent GIF but it looks like the default background colour was Black rather than White

What way should I be making it Transparent ?

If you want use a transparency option , use the .png or .gif extension when you save your picture and change the third line into your .skin file!
    RideRunner Skin
    RRScreen MobilePhone.
    MOBILEPHONE_MENU_transparent.png,MOBILEPHONE_MENU_OFF.png,MOBILEPHONE_MENU_ON.png, MOBILEPHONE_MENU_OFF.png
The first picture must to have _transparent into it's name !

OK, so without transparent, what is the type of the file now before any edit changes ? It is better that I keep to the standard MENU_ON.png

The RR documentations give some helps:
    SKINS DEFINITIONS
    *****************

-Skin files must start with the line: "MEDIACAR SKIN" (for compatibility reasons)
-The Second line should start with "MEDIACAR " followed by the skin/screen name.
-The Third line should have the name of four(4) or six(6) valid picture files, separated by commas:
    EMPTY.JPG,OFF.JPG,ON.JPG,DOWN.JPG[,Folder.BMP|ICO|GIF,Media.BMP|ICO|GIF][,CustomListDefaultIcon.BMP|JPG|GIF|ICO]
-All the following lines are to be ignored except those defined below with special meanings.
-The LAST line to be processed should say "END" (no quotes) for MediaCar compatibility.
-For the Definitions below X represents a number from 0-9.
-To maintain compatibility with MediaCar you should Number your objects (i.e. B01, B02 etc).
-Ride Runner so far, does not require numbering of objects but might use it in the future for expansions.
-Tooltips are currently ignored by Ride Runner. But may be used in some commands for expansions.
-x, y are the position top left of the button relative to the screen's top-left.
-w, h are the WIDTH and HEIGHT of the object being created.
-r, g, b are the color components RED, GREEN, BLUE for the object.
-pt is the font size to be used with the object
-trs is TRUE/FALSE to set if the list should display a selection bar (when trs=true).
-font is always the font's NAME. You can add a ':B' to the name, to make the font bold when needed.
-Items below marked with * can be used only ONCE PER SCREEN.
A traditionnal line is :MENU_OFF.PNG,MENU_OFF.PNG,MENU_ON.PNG,MENU_DOWN.P NG

It looks like this thread may be dead, but I'm trying to download and install this skin, and the links on the first page are dead. Would anyone be willing to PM me with a link to this skin? Thanks.
This goes for the guys, too. Because sometimes the guys are tapped out. But check your lease, Man, 'cause you’re living in F*bleep* City!
