Just because it is called an upgrade disk does not mean that it is not a clean install.

NET RADIO: Question
Not something I ever really used in the car. Now that I have an in home installation I'd like to take advantage of the feature. When I go to "Net Radio" I see a few presets. If I press one, nothing happens. If I hold to select a station there is no stations in the list, even if I press update station list from the internet. I am connected to the internet. Basically, this seems functionless at the moment. I saw a post a page earlier stating an issue with the labels, and there seemed to be quite a few customized stations in there. I couldn't find anything in the help file about this. ?
dougw133, there are so many issues with AVS, the winamp community is really lost on the poor quality of avs, they have many many many issues with it
stability issues, its just SOOO old, and it look like no one really mantains it...
you can get the old .dll from winamp 5.5...
also there are 3rd party versions
here is one...
based on the new 2.9 source
drop into winamp\plugins folder
and select it as ur vis
test it out in winamp alone!!
is see some OS blame above, dont be so quick to blame the OS
you have to ask yourself, where are these labels coming from, and work backwards
(i dont know myself, cause i never looked at dfx5's netradio)
Dougw133, If you overwritten your "InternetRadio" zip with mine from page #961 then you will only get my added stations, Sorry, I should have been more clear on this.
I re-upped the zip with all the original urls in it to so you can now overwrite with no probs. :o
EDIT: Guess what, my InternetRadio labels just came back from the dead!
I don't have any idea why??? But I'm still going to upgrade to 7 from vista anyway. Don't want to waste this disk, and just have it collect dust. This upgrade (sorry E) is overdue anyways.
DFX+5.1+Update+Patch.zip is corrupted in the AutoAppMart. Does anyone have an alternative download side or an eta when it will be fixed? Scrolling back through the posts it looks like some others are having the same issue.
jeremy480, did you change the .zip extension to .exe
Also I notice in the "InternetRadio" all of my radio stations that I put in myself vanish in the list after I press "update station list from the internet" button. And if I go into my "StationList.ini" All that I added is gone?
This is a couple I added just to make sure they didn't vanish again, but they still did.
I'm lost on this. :ohwell:
