This is a couple I added just to make sure they didn't vanish again, but they still did.

I'm lost on this.

EDIT: I guess just don't click on "update station list from the internet" button, and your added stations won't be deleted.

Updating the list does exactly that, though was a bit of an over sight on our part, that a user might have added their own custom stations....go figure. . . It will have to be addressed maybe in the final 5.1 update/release.

Over all, the "InternetRadio" is much, much better then previous version. I really like it alot!

stability issues, its just SOOO old, and it look like no one really mantains it...
you can get the old .dll from winamp 5.5...
also there are 3rd party versions

here is one...
based on the new 2.9 source
drop into winamp\plugins folder
and select it as ur vis
test it out in winamp alone!!

Dougw133, If you overwritten your "InternetRadio" zip with mine from page #961 then you will only get my added stations, Sorry, I should have been more clear on this.
I re-upped the zip with all the original urls in it to so you can now overwrite with no probs

No I did not. I have never used the net radio other than one time when DFX4 was first released. This is my first foray into it. The pre designated stations do nothing and there are none listed. How do I set these up? Is it just an .ini I have to edit? I remember the pre designated sations working before on previous installs but none of it is functioning at the moment.

Dougw133, Go into DFX5 skin folder and there should be your "InternetRadio folder", open "StationList.ini" in notepad. Are your stations listed? If not, take my zip posted on #961 and delete the one in DFX5 folder, and put mine in it's place. Don't tap or click the...."update station list from the internet" button. This will delete the list. This has been addressed, and this bug might be fixed in up coming DFX5. Good Luck.

Thanks I'll give it a shot. Can I sue any URL radio station or do they have to be shoutcast? When installing winamp I did not include any shoutcast.

Dougw133, now to add your own stations (urls).

1. Go into your "StationsList,ini" using notepad.

2. Pick a genre, you want to put you url under, ie

[Rock], [Classic Rock], [Metal] .etc

3. Now in the list of the genre you have chosen, add @ bottom of list, with next name and link number... ie

Name(type next number next in order)=(the name of the station)
Link(type next number next in order, same as name)=(type your station url)

ie,

Name1=Rockin Radio
Link1=http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.pls?id=629215
Name2=96 Rock
Link2=http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-station.pls?id=581651
Name3=Rock Radio
Link3=http://scfire-ntc-aa04.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1043

Yes, you can add non shoutcast, but don't tap/click the update button or they will vanish, POOFFF! all gone.

Thanks again. Pretty much what I tried to do yet nothing works. Pressing the any of the stations does nothing at al. No audio, no nothing. I tried your internet radio from post 961 ans still nothing. When I hold a button and Select "Choose Preset" there is nothing listed what so ever. I'm baffled.

On a side note tried to change a button today. This is DFX 5.1 patched latest RR with hotfix.

That's strange, maybe john or blue can chime in on this one.
