OK, I finally installed "7" on vista machine, and everything works great except for one error that only pops up when I restart RR/DFX5. And I don't get my greeting at start-up either. This only happens after using the internet radio, not music, CD changer etc.
ie -
Play internet radio---> exit RR---> start-up RR---> get error---> No start-up greeting---> and my internet labels show the url address, not title, artist etc, with higher cpu too.
Play music, cd changer etc.,---> exit RR---> start-up RR---> don't get error---> I get the start-up greeting--->Music resumes as expected.
In "RRConfig" my settings are...
On "General settings"
(page1)-
Unchecked - "Voice Enabled"
(page3)-
Unchecked - "Use Built-in Voice
Control"
And one more thing to mention, I'm not using "RRVoice" on this machine, so I
did not install that....
(un-registed dll).
Weird. :der:
Ok, thanks for the details, should be easier to see where/why that error is occuring.
Not a prob.
Blue, this does not happen on my "XP" machine, which has "RRVoice" installed. Runs flawlessly....except a slight little delay. I do have a lot of mp3s also, and I keep adding more. Go figure. :)
ATTN RAWPWR, BLUE
I had same runtime error on win7.
Looking at the pic you posted it appears you started RR and lastly you were listening to internet radio. It seems to me that "Speak Greeting at start up" is clashing while trying to resume the internet radio. Load an album mp3 whatever. Close rr and restart see if DFXSpeak throws the error. I turned greeting off and it doesn't happen.
EDIT:Update.
Turned speak greeting at star tup, on.
Started Internet Radio.
Closed RR.
Started RR, and recreated the exact error. Only happens with internet radio trying to resume and greeting on.
P.S>Seems hitting "Close" button for pandora does not kill the app. Only hitting pause in pandora seems to stop it for me.
Dougw133, yes.... this only happens with internet radio, so there must be some kind of conflict going on.
@Doug
The close button on that scrn purposely doesn't close the pandora app so that you can continue to listen while you do whatever else. If you want it to close PnH the menu btn.
Well that what i get for not actually looking at the screen b4 posting (via ph) :rolleyes:
