Unfortunately there is no standard that all of the Internet Radio stations follow. There is a plugin that Blue wrote, that does it's best to separate the artist, title and such based on a pretty advances set of rules. Even then, when a station does not supply this information, or the information is all messed up, there is nothing really that can be done. If you have RDS on your Car Stereo, or a RDS radio hooked to RR, you can also see this is true. On a ton of my local stations, the station name simply scrolls where the song title is supposed to be.

I don't have winamp installed... do i have to?
Also, up the top next to the CPU usage, am i able to have a cpu temp displayed?
That's the only thing stopping me from choosing this as my default skin. I want that function on my screen at all times, is there ANY skin that does it?
    Cheers

Winamp or one of the other supported media players.

Not sure of any skin that has the CPU temp on all it's screens.

But it's easy to add look at the skincommnads.txt in documentation to see which label command you need. (NB speedfan or MBM5 will need to be installed)

Oh boy....YES, winamp is what handles audio in RR. Well, mostly. From what I understand there are alternatives but winamp is the default (if you will) player which utilizes shoutcast streaming for internet radio. As for the CPU Temp speedfan would be the best bet. There is no quick setting that I am aware of to have it in the topindicators. however, I don't see why it couldn't be done. There is a system status page somewhere in DFX 5 that utilizes speedfan and will tell you multiple temps etc..I imagine it would take just a few lines of code added to topindicators file to achieve this. As for the code etc.., maybe someone else can jump in and help you, good chance some one on here already is using what you want.

Cool, i have speedfan installed, but yeah, just want the temp everywhere all the time especially for when summer comes
I have no idea about coding, which is why i'm contemplating giving the $10 donation if this can do what i want. Otherwise i'd program something myself.. which i can't lol
    Will install winamp tomorrow too..

    Hi Sledge1,

Thank you for your prompt help.
I did download and installed the program Speedfan.
And I'd like to know how to show the TEMP and Speed in Riderunner.
Could you kindly help?! Thanks in advance!

Now you need to find a skin that supports speedfan, which this one does.. there's a page that shows all the info etc..
so, get this skin and install that as well. i'm off to bed now..

My only issue is i want the cpu temp showing at the top right next to the cpu usage etc.

There is a file "TopIndicators.txt" in the root skin folder. You can put the label in there, and it will show on any of the screens that have the indicators at the top. Most of the skins do, but some do not due to space considerations on some screens.

Also note: SpeedFan was abandoned a long time ago, and almost none of the newer motherboards are supported. All you can do is test it, and see if you can get it to read the temperature from your CPU. It's really hit an miss honestly.

EDIT: Ok, Blue just messaged me and said that SpeedFan IS still being actively developed! I swear I heard the author stopped developing it a couple of years ago... My bad!
