I have decided to format & reinstall my Hard Disk, it has never been done so here goes!

Am I right in thinking that after installing XP, Riderrunner, Winamp (All Latest Versions) that I can just install the 5.1 Patch or do I need the original 5.03 first?

The patch is only for those that only want to updated their 5.03 install. If you are installing fresh or from scratch, then you just need to install the 5.1 full installer. Unless you like extra steps..

The only reason that I can find that the installer is complianing that it cant find the RideRunner folder is that you did not use the RR installer, and just copied your RideRunner folder from another drive as it looks for where RR was installed. The installer puts keys in the registry as to where is was installed at just like any other SW that you install on you computer. That message will only show up if you have changed the any of the full path to RideRunner.exe, after installing RR.

Thanks Blue, I have to admit, my first carpc install (this one) was quite a mess after swapping front ends etc, just just doing the clean install now.... where can I get the 5.1 full installer? I can only see the update?
