Are there any UK users reading this thread? as a long time user of Garmin I now have the situation of Garmin PC no longer being updated & I have a fresh install & trying to find a "maintained" alternative with speed cameras, can any one let me know what they use as a UK solution?

I don't use DFX but am currently trying Sygic Fleet/Drive as the navigation, but am also using my personal edition of FreeDrive (which uses an old Destinator 3 SDK) for speed camera notifications. (Sygic does display the speed cameras on the map, not sure if it does announcements or not )

Thanks Enforcer, can I ask where you get Sygic from please? their website seems to be for mobiles only?

You will be able to update your maps in the future but there will be no further updates for the program it self

Thanks road warrior, I am using this format and reinstall as an opportunity to change anyway garmin seems very clunky and jerky compared to others anyhow, am trying sygic tomorrow ;)

Thanks for all your help Blue,

I have now got a fresh install of XP & installed DFX5.1 full install & all is working so far.... I have a couple of questions if possible please?

Is it possible somewhere to search for an internet radio station (In my case the station is called absolute)

When using Grooveshark (only one that works in the uk :-( how do you type? any way to start the OSK?

The Google traffic doesnt seem to find my GPS? is there a setting somewhere?

Make sure that you grab the updated zip from post #4 in this thread!

open up your dfx5 skin.ini and edit the InternetRadio Presets section to add that custom station like so:

INR_Name11=Absolute
INR_Station11=<put address to stream here>

There is no OSK for grooveshark, though look thru the last few pages, there is a link to a third party OSK app.

Does RR See your GPS? Did you set up a port splitter for your GPS port? Xport(free) or something like GpsGate($$, name might be wrong)
