bebetaz, I think someone in the past stated on this forum that pre-loading of your Menu skins wasn't ideal......this could be the cause.......or I could be wrong.

No you were right, you should never pre-load menu.skin, as that is done at RR start up. However, you can, as you did, pre-load the rest of the menu skins with no problem.

Ok, Let's try to deactivate all the plugins and reactivate them one at a time...

Done, did some quick testing, and my first assumption was right.
I have removed all plugins, RR loads in about 4 seconds, added all the plugins one at a time (but RRExtended) RR loads in about 7 secondes with all plugins. Added RRExtended, RR loads in 64 secondes...

I'm guessing I might have corrupted the files in there, or maybe one of the mods I did in other files is in conflict with RRExtended (most likely solution).

Would you guys have any idea how I can troubleshoot deeper?

I found a RRExtended debugger in the plugin folder so I ran it then started RR. I have pinpointed what lags. It errors out when trying to get the Computer IP's for Labels.:

For taking the time to both help investigate what was causing the problem and for posting/finding the RRExtented debugging methods without even being asked for such info...

Ok, back on topic!

Though I'm not sure why its taking that long for that, open up the skin.ini and check this setting: TaskMgr_CompIPs try setting it to false and it will skip it during the PI loading.

Mate you're a genius.... not too sure what it does, but setting TaskMgr_compIPs to false fixed the problem. Loading time with RRExtended is now just under 8 secondes.

Now, 2 questions. First what the hell do I do now with my gold star??? lol and more seriously, do you know what the impact is of setting TaskMgr_compIPs to false?

Not a whole lot, it just turns off the gathering of info for label usage.

A few buttons are doing this, click, do nothing as I gather they can't find something. Iexplore is set with rrconfig, tried both 64 and 32 bit versions. Ideas, further debug flags to set perhaps?
