I looked into this some time back actually. There are no API's for the finger print readers that I could find for VB6, .net or AUtoit. One would be needed so when a certain person is recognised, it would fire a different command.

So, unfortunately, at this time, there are no plans to add this to the skin. And that is not something I say very often when someone makes a feature request

I don't think he's actually asking you to do the fingerprint interface.

he just wants to be able to have the option of multiple passwords on the unlock screen, which could then relate to a different user profile

Hmmmm that could be done, but with a bit of work for sure. My thought is if there are 10 different "profiles", then it would be much easier for someone to get a code correct

Well it's the age old dilema, security over convenience.

I don't think there is likely to be many people having 10 different users.

Hi John, Enforcer,

Enforcer is correct, I am just wanting the password in DFXLock to trigger a user switch in RR. I have already covered the fingerprint recognition myself by creating a little VB6 application.

I just need RR to switch profile according to the 4 digit password entered in DFXLock.skin.

I clicked the "donate" button before installing the DFX5.1 patch, and installed the downloaded executable only to find that I clicked on the wrong donate button and have not gotten rid of the splash screen. Can you email me the proper file?

BTW, the web address you listed on the splash screen is incorrect. People actually donating might have difficulty finding where!

A couple of us have mentioned the HD Radio presets disappearing before, and I have finally determined what makes them disappear for me. It's something to do with the HD Radio and Net Radio skins, and no internet connection. There may be other failure modes but I can repeat this one at will. I've lost my presets countless times.

So if the HD radio is playing a station, press MENU to go to main menu, then Net Radio button. Now you're in the net radio skin, with NO internet connection, select a station which of course doesn't start, then go back to HD radio skin, and your presets are gone.

Normally of course I wouldn't pick a net radio station to listen to with no internet, but this has happened to me when I thought I had an active internet connection using my Verizon MIFI. The WiFi symbol was active on the main menu screen so I thought the connection was good, but it wasn't.

No idea why it happens, and it isn't a huge problem, but maybe you can find the problem at some point. Thanks!
